Pre-Surgery use?

I will be having an operation (my throat) in a few months and was wondering if it's okay to imbibe before the surgery.

Anyone know if there are any problems doing this?

Talk to your surgeon! This no place to ask that question, as your surgeon is the #1 advice giver. I hope your operation is successful. I am going to have my neck operated on this Thursday. Peace.

if I didn't live in an unfriendly state, i would talk to my doc...but the fear of reprisal is too great.

Unfriendly state or not, I always inform my Doc. It is confidential information.

"Hey Doc, by the way, there may be a little THC in my system, just thought u should know."

I have not seen one make a big deal of it yet, and one even said it actually helps.

I concur with Techman...its always better safe than sorry...be truthful, some meds don't mix so well, especially on the euphoric part. My Cardiologist hates it when I mention it, he will walk out of the room every time. That being said, I'm not his friend, and he does a great job, thats the important part for me. Same Doc wore a viagra cap during a stint procedure...that worried me somewhat (humor). Best of luck to both of your procedures.
