Question about watt per square foot

Some say 50watts per square foot some say different numbers can someone help with the math and let me know my girls will come out, my room is 600watts and 345 wall watts on a 40inch by 40inch room, what is the number i use 600 or 345 to get to this 50 or so watts per square watts

You are at about 31 watts per square foot. You use actual wattage.

Yes, thanks i figured it out... I guess i will start my grow with the 600 watt led but get another 600 watt led before final flower cause i want the best buds...

Sounds like a good plan. You don't need as much light in veg; flowering is when it really makes a difference.
