Question for DWC growers

I'm considering giving DWC a shot for my next grow, the only concern I have is in regards to keeping reservoir water cool. My grow room temps tend to reach 85f.

If I were to put the air pump outside the grow room, would the 70-75f house temperature be enough to cool the water? I know it says shoot for 65f for best results but I'm unsure how to get that without buying a water chiller. Unless there's a cheap one I don't know about

That's exactly what I did. You should also add Hydroguard @ 2ml per gallon. Don't forget to add it to the water when topping off the buckets also. Then be very dilligent about light leaks into the buckets, weekly water changes, and use your smeller a couple times a week between water changes, root rot will smell...wrong.
