Photo I’m pretty sure, it’s a bag seed, and my ph was off the first few weeks so it was pretty stunted, it’s at about 5 weeks and very small for her age, I’m still very new to this and just got my ph sorted out

Gonna need a small tie wire, garden wire, or some folks use pipe cleaners etc. it needs to not choke or cut into any part of the plant. Some put binder clips on side of bag or container as anchor point & pull the top of seedling gently towards the clip. Don’t use string or thread it will cut the plant.

You do need to support the trunk or stem of the main plant from the opposite direction with tire wire BEFORE HAND so you don’t pull her roots up out of the ground. Oops out of the hydroton

I think 420 member In The Shed has a nice LST tutorial in his signature - it will be worth your time to check it before you start! Look for his journal on here & the article is linked in his signature

I will check it out, and its leather cord, and it’s a little to stiff to make it tight ,think that will b ok? and I put a little more medium in the basket to keep it secure but I will tie it the opposite direction also

Once you dial in your grow with hydroponics or in your case DWC with RH, Temp & nutrients etc veg growth in general can be faster than growing in soil.

Ya get some variation with topping & what node etc but in general most will agree some where between 3rd & 5th node.

Lets say i top at the 3rd node on the main stem that leaves you with 6 lateral branches to be trained this can be done via LST methods with these lateral branches producing nodes as well which can be topped... so that is a potential of 12 cola sites more likely more if LST'd well as some of lower node sites will produce bud.

Topping side lateral branches needs to be done carefully to create an even canopy some what on par with a scrog grow, but it can be done.

I start when I get 6 nodes and continue to tie down, bend and tuck to expose bud sites throughout grow.
Sorry about the natural light.

Thank y for the help, I didn’t really have a plan for topping or training Because this is my first real grow, so I’m just scrambling to do what i can at this point, I will plan better for next time, scrog looks interesting, I would like to try that on a grow sometime, after I get a little more experienced
