Soil grow, LED, White Widow auto: what should RH be?

Hi all. I live in an area that is dry. 28 - 30 rh. I put a humidifier in the room (outside tent) and my humidity is 40 now. My white widow autos just broke ground. What should the RH be at? Should I put humidifier inside the tent? I’ve heard so many different things that I’m a bit confused. Thanks!

When they are babies they like rh a bit higher. I used a bowl of water with a wick(old towel) to get the rh up a bit last winter.

According to what has been documented 50-60% is ideal for vegetative growth and 40-50% in flowering. That being said my grow space is 38-55% all the time. I have used a humidifier in the past to get it higher but I have not noticed a difference with or without it.

Like Kismet said you can try the towel/bowl trick inside the tent if you're worried about it. You may also want to throttle back the speed on your extraction fan. That will help keep moisture in the tent.

I just moved to high altitude and have a real problem as well.

I always use wet towels hanging on the SCROG frame and put a fan on one dangling in a bucket to make a swamp cooler. Helps at any grow to reduce wear on your humidifier.
