Can this seed make it? Once my seed has sprouted up put of the soil what is good lighting for it? What if its wearing the seed shell do I take it off myself or let it be?
A single 60watt equivalent bulb will do for the first two weeks or so-about 6" above the plant.
If it ends up with a case of helmet head,you can very carefully try and pick it off-if it's stuck,try
again a day later.
Give it a day or so before you start trying to pick it off-most of the time they'll fall
off on their own - nature's got this stuff pretty well figured out...
Yeah im with caracus, less is best for seedlings imo. I use a 130w CFL reflector for the first 2 weeks also at 6inches.
Yes you can pull the shell off gently. Next time, plant the seed 15mm deep and pointy side up to avoid it happening again
