I thought this may be a good addition to the list. Personally dealt with the lawyer on the marijuana charge - case dismissed.

In the Commonwealth of Virginia, criminal cases are vigorously pursued. Incidents that seem like insignificant events, such as a pushing a significant other during an argument, throwing something at someone, or failing to register a vehicle, can become larger issues. On the other hand, people understand that if they are found to have drugs in their possession or are caught drinking and driving, serious consequences are a possibility.

Howdy y'all: I'm amazed at the work that so many brave people have done to mute the hysteria around cannabis and bring the plant to the adult masses here in Minnesota. It's been a long road, and we're almost home, but we're not there yet. There will be continuing opposition to legalization, especially from medical people (just the uptight ones), drug companies, and the treatment/recovery businesses. Treatment centers will lose a lot of money without the steady stream of court-ordered cannabis users, so we all know what's coming: more hysteria. I am committing my solo law practice to promoting and defending legalization, so if anyone needs legal representation, give me a call. I can provide advice and direction outside of court, and I can really bring it if litigation is necessary. I have a good reputation with judges and their clerks because I know how to advance arguments without being obnoxious or boring. Let's do this thing! (952) 681-8707

Hi James, this is awesome! I think most if not all of the current hysteria surrounding cannabis stems from politicians and their unbreakable bonds with big pharma. Everyone knows cannabis can replace much of the pain and psych medications and this would upset the money flow back to politicians. Legalization of cannabis needs to be done carefully and methodically. The power of the plant needs to be given back to the people free of taxes and over regulation. Legalization should not entail giving the government the power to profit from it. Funny most of the cannabis laws are only put on the table with extensive tax structure. The politicians get the bills passed because they say stuff like "Cannabis taxes will help improve schools and infrastructure." "Vote to tax cannabis because it's good for the kids and their future!" NEVER VOTE TO INCREASE OR CREATE NEW TAXES!!!!!!!!!! I don't think many people understand how our great nation was formed and why. We can learn a lot from history. Those who don't are destined to repeat it. I wouldn't be surprised if schools start replacing core curriculum like math and history with CRT, sex ed and gender studies.
