Suggesting a New Competition

hiya guys and gals.

just a random idea, delete this post if you wish.

how about a "post of the month and post of the year" addition.

we dont always need material prizes, sometimes just a bit of kudos is good enough and i think this competition could very well work as a 'best bits' marketing tool and everyone has a bit of fun.

Don't they already do that by making it a sticky .... or, asking you to be a moderator??

lol i would hope that it takes a lot more to become a mod than 1 or 2 well written posts.

i just mean that occasionally someone will have a brainstorm or explain something in a unique way, changing the way we think of the grow.
these posts tend to form the cream of what any site has to offer and i think it would stimulate well thought out posts if it offered an extra little reward by being nominated for post of the month. post of the year would come from these and be the most enlightening thing thats been said all year.
