Topping In Flower To Even Canopy

I'm growing 4 strains. 3 are the same height while one has stretched like a mf.
I'm 3 weeks into flowering.

I'm wondering if it's safe to cut off the top of a plant, 3 weeks into flower, to even my grow canopy. I'll lose some top cola bud, but I don't care much about that.

I know I could just raise them up. Just so you know I'm not retarded. :)

It would probably be better to tie it down...

If it stretched that much, it's probably pretty pliable? Be really careful, you don't want to break the stem bending it.

I had some in my current grow that stretched so much that I bent them down, they stretched some more, so I tied them down again and I now have a stem that looks like a long sideways U

the ones that stretch the highest will be your most productive colas TIE them down problem solved

LOL. Maybe I am retarded and my parents never told me.
That was a pretty simple and effective solution. I can't believe I didn't think of that.

Thanks to you both!
Rep for both.
