Hey everyone I need some help here I live in south central Ontario, Canada and it is still a bit chilly here this week averaging almost -13 because of this all the air in my house and outside is void of moisture and I think it’s slowing down the development of my girls I have tryed allot of things to try and help but if I’m order to keep some kind of air flow I lose allot of that humidity the babies are looking okay (a few showing signs of weakness and some stress) I’m guessing it’s the inconsistency of the Rh I have tried truss of water and wet towels along with spraying down all ares of the grow I can safely it will spike up to a decent rh for a while but will slowly drop back down into the 20% range I have a small humidifier coming today hopefully it helps my grow is only 3x2x8 so I think the 10-15 sq meter humidifier should work just hoping to get some experienced advice I have grown for a few years mostly out door on account of the laws in my area but we are now able to grow personal plants so I’m trying. My hand at indoor and would love any advice I can get I’m happy to give any information and post photos for you all to see just let me know what info you need and I will do my best to provide it

Welcomw to 420,Canadianclstgrower !

When you up-pot them, you might also lower the light a bit-looks pretty far from the plants in your pics.

Larger pots may also help your low rh problem(more surface evaporation)-not a lot,but every little bit helps.

Thank you for the advice carcass I up potted 2 today Ned to get more pro mix and at the moment I have the light at 36” I was thinking of dropping it but I had some evidence of light burning from doing that a few days ago I’ll post som pics and get your opinion the Rh has been steady in the 40s since I added the little humidifier and up sized the two I gets a bit higher into the 50’s when I don’t open the door for a bit seems to have mostly stabilized I’ll definitely try dropping the light a bit soon

I’m your guys’ opinion where is the beat place for me to have this little humidifier it’s 450 ml cost me $20 and says it covers a 10-15 sq meter area my closet is barely 5 sq meters

Hi! Sorry for the lack of advice, but I am in South Western Ontario and have the exact same problem!

I run a small humidifer on full power none stop when the inline fan runs. Fan on low.. Still get a RH of 30-35%. Not sure how to fix this!!

Work starts again on Monday, and i won't be around to refill the humidifier anymore. Little worried

Hey not a problem at all all input is welcome and yea I have been keeping a tray of water and added a 450 ml humidifier said it is supposed to run non stop for 8 hours it is definitely helping and yea with my fans tuning I’m losing a bit of humidity I have been misting the walls and other non electric surfaces to try and keep it up as for a dive experience I can give I find if you can keep warm to hot trays of water around they help some while your not around to intevine the only hard part is keeping it warm make sure to add something like peroxide to kill anything trying to live in the water and keep it close to a fan the air moves and will hero taking a small amount of the moisture with it I find with both of these it is keeping a steady RH in the high 30s and 40s hoping as the girls get bigger and start giving off more heat and moisture it will balance out

For our area of the world, planting end of summer when it is very humid would be perfect! Then, by the time we need to dry the crop, it will be getting very dry outside.
I know right it makes keeping a good indoor environment hard and very high on priority I will keep you informed on any new trick I lead as this grow moves on

As for going to work some things I can say I do is I Turn off my egsaust fan allowing the air movement inside the room now to cycle the air in and out of my 2nd bedroom the don’t seem to be hurt too much by it I also will drop the heat in my house when I leave so th lack of forced egsaust didn’t make it spike tooo 95 degrees (had that happen came home and wanted to cry) also silica products tend to make your girls more hardy and stand up to low Rh and high temps better I have been told by a breeder friend of mine

Also adding CO2 you can allow the temp to climb higher and need far less ventilation as you are supplanting the co2 in the air will help you keep your Rh I can’t afford a good cO2 system yet but when I can I’ll let you know how it works for me

Tyra’s plan successful guys thank you for all the help and support I’ll definitely keep you updated on these girls

Transplants *^
Lots of good tips there thanks! I was wondering myself about turning off the exhaust fan, and seeing how hot it would get. Then I got paranoid that perhaps the cool tube lighting I use really needs this running?? Not sure.. Likewise though, will keep you informed if I find any good tricks and anything I try out :thumb:
im sorry I wish I had more experience with HId man I am new to the indoor thing and have used t5 and led so far if I find any more tips I will drop them your way

Thank you they are still small they are a mystery strein a breeder friend of mine had a ventilation issue and he ended up with a bunch of unknown crosses great for me cuz I get to try them out but bad for him cuz he can’t gurentee or give positive lineages to them I know they are mostly indica by the looks of them i will post lots of pic and maybe you guys can help me figure these girls out
