Week 1 first indoor grow any tips

Luv the light bro you'll be needing it for your girls to grow into, things looking great in there cant really see the leaf edge damage you mentioned tho. mate don't be scared to push the light down on them mine have always been within 8 - 12" throughout just have to move the heat.
Top directly below bulb is 8 1/2 inches.

Good bro get that light down on em, plenty of intensity, expect some stretch for a while after you flip thats normal. I wouldn't worry about that damage it looks old just keep an eye out its not happening to your newer leaves. haha im definitely not the man bro im noobi you and yours did really well and got to a nice size for 14 days veg. yours will be budding up soon now your 12/12 don't see why yours wont produce with that light so keep up the stella work mate and there will be fat frosty buds coming your way.

you are the man. just checked the light it is about 10inch from tops been like that for about 5 hours now and all looks good, just ordered another 600w hps light.

i see you have trimmed your fan leafs? should i do that ?????

Defoliation is a controversial topic bro, your leaves thru photosynthesis provide energy for your plants to grow, the less leaves theoretically the less energy, some say older leaves are a drain on the plant and should be removed others (like me) think they are reserves of energy that continue to support growth with reserves of energy. One way or another we usually remove leaves that are covering or reducing light to important tip or bud sites. Everybody has different opinions on what should be removed when it should be removed and if any should be removed at all, for all iv'e read their is no definitive best way, alot of opinions and arguments tho. Personally I look at it as a balancing act, i take only the leaves off that are covering important tip or bud sites but also look at the overall amount of leaf already on the plant if its already a bit thin on leaf i wont take that leaf off. Sometimes it seems they're all in the way but im not keen to strip my plants too much, Ive been known to take just the one finger off a leaf thats blocking a bud site lol

So in your case m8 id only take any leaf off if they're blocking light to lower tips, if not leave them to do that thing they do so well :)

Thanks dasher for all your info, you are like the human wikipedia

today is the end of 2nd week flowering seems to be alot of bud coming for such a small plant. mite have to put some sticks in the pots to stop them falling over.

If you got it, use it :rocker: your watering sounds perfect, they will use just slightly more with another light just from evaporation. . Well your future looks bright, pun intended. Excited to see things going well for you mate.

The pots are looking a little small now lol you'll have to get bigger pots for the next round i think.

Hello all this week will be the end of week 4 of flowing. someone told me i need to use some PK? any advice on this would be good from people who have used this, like when and what to do.

thanks

Hey Roundstone, no ive never grown exodus cheese whys that have you got some beans ? all your girls are looking sweet the small ones are looking really healthy, kinda worried those pots your bigger girls are in are going to rootbind your plants, maybe a gentle transplant to bigger pots could help just a little concerned as they're so long into flower to be transplanting , wondering what others think about that.

Keep up the stella work mate i see some nice bud in your future :blunt:

hi dasher no i dont have any beans just somebody i know was saying he gets 4oz to 5 oz per plant from exodus cheese, what do you grow? also do you use the pk?

thanks bud
