What kind of corn can be used for SST?

Hello all, I see a lot of people using organic popcorn for SST, is there a reason people use organic popcorn instead of say field corn seed? Does popcorn have more "stuff" compared to other types of corn seed? Thanks all.

Nope, basically any corn is fine, but should be organic is all.
Iam sprouting some right now to make an SST in a few days.

Thanks for the info, This makes finding corn a lot easier in my area(affordable that is).
