HI, I've been given by friend who is currently spending some time in one of her Majesty's finest hotels (jail), a roughly 8 week old 18"inch Northern lights growing in soil. I've never grown before and was wondering when to put her on 12/12. she seems more leggy than bushy. Any advise is appreciated has Im new to this and this website. Thank you. Bowie.

At 8 weeks old she sounds ready to go.
Take into consideration you available space, they tend to double, even tripe in size during flowering.
By now you should already notice the sex, you can check for pre-flowers.
Males are usually discarded, as they do not produce trichomes. But they are good learning material, and useful to make edibles or even hash.

Thanks guys, thats helped me loads. After checking, it is a female. Think i'll wait till next weekend then i'll start her on 12/12. glad ya liked the finest hotel, that was the message i got when given her..lol. Thanks again guys its loads of my mind. Will bang some pictures on soon.
