Which leaves used to make hash?

Hi guys,

I feel like this is going to be an easy question...but I have no idea what the answer is so any help would would be great!

I want to know which leaves I can use to make hash? Is it the leaves from vegetative stage or leaves from harvest stage? Or any other part of the plant?

Any help is welcomed

It's The sugar leaves (the smaller leaves covered in trichomes that are hugging the buds) after harvesting.

Depending on you're strain and light not all weed makes it worthwhile to do hash. My last harvest was great tho. Made almost 50 grams from 3 plants in a 3x3. This round I don't expect anything worth my time. What strain are you growing? I had the my best hash from a dinafem California hash plant and cbd shark. Cbd hash was very nice.
