White stringy stuff

Have white stringy stuff growing on my stem. Is this a problem or normal? plants appear to to extremely healthy.

Looks like the plant is shedding a layer of skin but not sure why its doing that ?

my plant did the same thing after the baby leaves fell off.. except it was yellow.... and my plant is very healthy.... just shedding... prparing for bigger stem lol

Yeah just about most plants Ive grown during seedling stage will shed after they get to their 5 fingered leaves, the 2 round first thumb leaves usually die off and then the outer layer dries up and splits and then it shouldnt really do it again after this.. So dont stress!! Smokemup
