Easy Question - Noob Guidance

Hey 420 crew. So I've started my very first grow.

Grow Tent - 2.2x2.2x5.2
Light - Mars Hydro II 400
Pot - 5 Gallon Fabric
Medium - Super Soil
Strain - CKS Green Crack Fem

So far so good. I went from sprouted seedling to 5 gallon pot. I know, overpotted and watering could be a tricky proposition. Whats done is done, and she's doing quite well. Having said that, here's my first question.

She's due for water soon, I've been ubber careful on the watering since it's in such a large pot. She's going to be 14 days old tomorrow (since popping from the soil) and is going to be in need of a watering tomorrow or the next day. At first I watered her with 1L around the perimeter of the plant, last week. Now she's working on her third node (just started), and I have not started nutes yet. Should I continue watering a few inches outside the circumference of the leaves? When do I begin watering the whole 5 gallon until run off?

Hey there. You should begin to water her until you get runoff. I would lift the pot to make an idea of how much it weighs before and after watering, to make sure you can tell when it's dry.

NM, figured it out. And thanks for the reply! I will give her the first full pot feeding in the next day or two I should start a journal as well....

I usually wait with giving food unless I start seeing the two cotyledons dying off. To me that means no more of that good baby food.
But I am scared to burn the plant, and end up probably feeding less then I should.
