Hola 420 amigos!

Had some spare equipment sitting around and decided to germ a Reserva Privada OG Kush 18 bean..

(Grow facts..)
Reserva Privada OG Kush 18 Female bean straight from The Att.

5 Gallon, Fox Farm OF with 1" hydroton base..
--25% perlite mix
--1tbsp / gallon of dolomite lime

400W Digital Ballast wit Super 400w HPS Hortilux Bulb
--6" hydrofarm inline fan for carbon exhaust/cooling hood
--4" passive intake to push fresh air from room in while scrubbed air moves out cooling the hood. (Still able to maintain a negative vacumn in the tent)

Synthetic's include..
--Canna A+B leftover from last coco grow.. Works fine with FFOF
--Rhizotonic
--Cannazyme
--AN Bud Blood
--Snow Storm Ultra (Humboldt)
--Canna PK 13/14
--Cal/Mag (Botanincare)
--Ph Up/Down

Organic Based include..
--Pure blend grow
--Hydroponic grade molasses
--Bloom super tea

Used a wire storage rack from Walmart for 30$ to adjust and attach the plant to for the ScroG.. Seems to be working BEYOND my expectations!! And its easily portable for flushing if the pot is zip tied securely.
(I used plant clips to hold stems to the wire rack for evening canopy during initial stretch)

Well there's much more Im sure ill post im about day 45 flower currently, im thinking if its like the last batch of og18 that it will need to go atleast 70-80 days for full ripening..

Also forgot to mention this was a 3 month veg, (1.5 months under T5 Fluoro and 1.5 months under 400 MH)

Starting the ScroG..
(Last week of Veg.)

Thought this was interesting, here's the preflowers and pistils from the ogk18 from last season...
Always glad to see a pheno that is consistent in its offspring..

You will notice the similarity between the thickness of pistils and the transluscent look to them.

I have a feeling a OG18 mother will always remain in the room.

253cheifen- its crazy, every time I try get a cola count I ALWAYS lose track. I've gotten the number 105 three times so im going with that... haa I just cant wait to cut the colas and see whats hiding underneath!

I Wanted to see what I could expect for a yeild.. Im guessing with the scrog the cola's alone will account for over 120grms... total plant cut weight dry/cured including hash/budder materials will hopefully exceed 150 grms.

Thanks Clint, my only concern (which Im almost 99% will never be an issue) but the only thing is that hang drying the whole plant at once could prove tricky.. Might have to chop branches initially and hang, dont want to invite mold with all those nugs touching eachother... Other than that I love the cage, JUST BE SURE you wont need to retransplant... You will have to secure the pot in case you needed it portable for flush etc...(They even make the storage rack bigger 24" by 48" with wheels, Might step it up in size next time with a coco grow....)

I need your help on the status of these leaves? Seems to be only 5% of canopy effected but still want to know.. This isn't spreading but I just would like to be ready if I can help save it next time..

(Quick Educated Guess)
HYPOTHESIS: Leaves reacted to a Ph lockout, due to low (5.0) Ph runoff test.. Symptoms of lockout seem to be Potassium, Nitrogen, Phosphorus or magnesium.. Resulted in salt toxicity from unused ferts.. BUT that's just a GUESS..

CONCLUSION: Flushed 12 days ago to 6.5 runoff. Feeding after flush only RO water, 5ml Cal/Mag, Molasses every other feed, and gave them 3 ml pk13/14 once. Possibly using only H20 and molasses for remainder of flower.. Let me know if you think otherwise
(Should I be adding some nutrients (K,Ph,N,Mg?) or just rock whats in the foxfarm O.F. and keep up molasses til final flush?)



(Long Version, for those who appreciate the details)
Had a VERY low ph run-off 3 weeks ago prior to flush, it read 4.9-5.2.i flushed about 1.5-2 weeks ago after i began noticing them do this... the spreading has haulted for the most part however I notice a few leaves still spotting/yellowing.. Seems to only be around the edges of leaves as well never from the inside out.. Also the affected leaves seem to curl sideways,

I have spotted zero bugs/mold/larvae.
Temp Medium & Variance (73) (69-75)
Humidity (45-55%)
Fed every other watering before Flush with Canna Part B (10ml), Cal/Mag (5-7ml), Snow Storm(2-4ml), Cannazyme (5ml)
Been very consistent with lights, only using small green led's in need be i see it during dark..


Done much research on forums and looked at every single plant disease, nutrient problem guide... Lead me to Thinking it was a potassium/phosphorus lockout with possibly even a touch of nitrogen lockout? Hence yellowing on medium sized fan leaves.. I know that runoff isn't the best way to measure soil acidity but it seems to work somewhat for me reading after flush..

Sometime soon I will be starting a triple cross of my favorite OG's.. It will hopefully ressemble the Triple OG or even the Triangle Kush I've tasted before.

I believe I have the process right, not sure though but if not I have a book on order that goes into breeding etc..
My goal is a cross between (Lemon Kush, Og Kush 18, Larry OG and possibly GreenHouses Kings Kush(Master K x Grape Ape)


1) Im thinking I will take the Larry OG male and cross it with the OG 18 cut. Then back cross it with the Larry OG male again.. (Larry OG 18)

2) I will now surely have a Larry 18 Male Seed to be crossed with a Lemon Kush Female seed.. That will in turn be backcrossed with the Larry 18 again... (Lemon Larry 18, with hopefully still a sour 18 taste but with an overwhelming lemon/kerosene scent with a glossy wet trich look.)

3) I will then flower a couple "Lemon Larry 18" females to see the product and whether or not its worth running with.. ( I want a rediculously lemon tasting nugs oozing with trichs)

4) Lemon Larry 18 Male seeds left over from test run will then be crossed with a Kings Kush from GreenHouse Seeds... Then pollinate "King Lemon Larry 18" offspring again with the Lemon Larry 18 Male cut or female cut with and get some Feminized Beans..

FINAL result King Lemon Larry 18, I obviously will be thinking of a new name before all is said and done.. I chose to backcross because from what I heard it helps stabalize the offspring for the next cross... My biggest concern is that after crossing so many times the plant will become unstable in its sex or that the buds will be small due to the genetics of the Kush being crossed so frequently..

OG18 X Larry = F1
Larry X F1 OG male = BX1
Lemon Kush X BX1 Larry male = BX2
Kings Kush X BX2 Lemon Larry 18 male = BX3 King Lemon Larry 18
(Possible BX3 to complete L.L.18 BackCross)

Im thinking this project should take atleast 1.5-2 years before its dialed down and I have a true triple back-cross that produces good yielding, stable, dripping, stinky, lemon flavored buds..

it is extremely sour, I had sour D a few times, and it wasn't even half as sour as the OG18 haha. Have you had super lemon haze? how does that lemon compare to the OG lemon flavor?

Organic- I was in Terzana in August and I did pick up some super lemon haze at a top dispensary (RDC). The nugs looked abosolutely amazing, however the nug i smoked of SLH lacked the lemon taste I thought it would. Great nugs and good flavor, just didnt taste lemon
