Cloning for sexing?

Question if only females will grow roots when cloned couldn't cloning be used as a method to determine sex in early vegative growth ?

You can Clone males too, so either will grow roots. Though you can put your clones/cuttings into Flower light cycle and get them to show while you are vegging the Mothers (or Fathers sometimes ).
