Hello All! New to the forums, but want to spread what I know and post some pics and info about my current grow. Big fan of the community you guys got here, so if your willing to have me, I'll help as much as I can. If you have any questions or comments, pleasee ask away :smokin: anyways, here we go.

First off, here are the genetics:

(WOS) Afghan Kush

"Afghan Kush comes from the mountainous system of Hindu Kush (north of Afghanistan).

Another pure landrace Indica Kush, grows wild in the valleys of Armu Darya rivers that border with Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. It is a variety that is very stable (almost 100% Indica) and has been the fruit of successive cross backs between wild varieties of Kush since the different races of Kush grow in a relatively reduced geographical zone.
Afghan Kush has a very powerful smell like the best Afghani hashish. It is also a very valuable medicinal chemiotype.

Way of cropping: Mainly indoor/very good yield outdoor
Race: Pure race obtained from Afghani Kush zone
Genotype: Almost 100% Indica
Height: Less than 1.5m indoor/ until 2 meters outdoor
Width: Depending on prune. Some branched without prune.
Growing time: 3 Weeks
Harvest time: 45 - 55 days indoor/average
Yield: Over 400 gr per m2 indoor/ 500 - 600 gr per plant outdoor
Resistance to mushrooms: Average
Resistance to plague: Depends on the plague
Irrigation tolerance: High tolerance to frequent irrigation and fertilisation
Medicinal Value: High (for its high content in CBD). Excellent like antiemetic and antispasmodic.
Smell: Hashish
Flavour: Fruity and sweet
Effects: Very narcotic
THC Level: 21.6% measured upon the rest of cannabinoids. 7.4% measured upon the rest of organic substances belonging to buds like: aminoacids, sugars, terpenoids, vegetal hormones, and cannabinoids (determined by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry"

What I've done..

Veg Time: 4.5 wks under 250w HPS
Nutrients: GH Flora Micro/Grow/Bloom 1/2/3 + Koolbloom
Medium: Rockwool for propagation, and then hyrdroton when roots developed and into the waterfarm she goes!

Expected Cycle of 12/12: 8-9 weeks (depending on trichs) under 250w hps

Theres obviously a filter involved inside the stealth cab I made. DIY is preferred for me because not only does it save cash, but it gives you an understanding of how it all works because...well..you put it together.

Nothing special about anything leading up to week 4 so I will post pics below. Anyone have experience with this strain? If so, speak up, I'd love to hear different takes on harvest time, potency etc. :bong:

I got a couple WOS Afghan Kush and Afghan Kush Ryder fem. seeds from Single Seed with my purchase of some other seeds and I was pleasantly surprised to find a WOS Afghan Kush, and a Afghan Kush Ryder. I germinated and they are still vegging so I cannot tell you much about flowering time. Your plant looks really good growing in the water farm. I have one of those and the last plant I grew in it (Purple Urkle) got really big. First time growing WOS Afghan Kush for me as well but so far she and her sisters look good. I am curious to see how the auto-flowering variety compares. Thanks for posting the pics of the plant flowering. Looks really good, lot's of bud sites. I am growing mine in 3 gallon fabric pots made by Roots Organics and the leaves look just like yours. Big fat fingers. A fine specimen of cannabis from the Kush zone. Post some more pics in about 4 weeks so we can see the final results. Hopefully she smokes good. If not oh well, got them for free he he.

Exactly, but from what I've read I'm looking at a kick ass smoke when she comes down

Your plant looks great. I also got the afghan kush but i crossed it with the skunk to try and get a good outdoor strain with more yield, cant wait till spring so i can get these girls growing

I've been running them for about 8 months. Smokeable after 7 weeks, 9-10 for the full effect. Worth the wait, great yielder and heavy stone.
Welcome aboard.

:welcome: to :420:
I'll be following your grow if that's OK.
Absolutely!

Skunk has some strong genetics. Sounds like a potent mix :goodluck:

Awesome! Do they pack on more weight in the last few weeks?

A lot. You can improve the taste by adding floralicious bloom and flora nectar.
I switch to dry kool bloom after week 7 - go two weeks, and then flush 10+ days.

They grow really big and really fast. I'm anxious to see how the WOS auto-kush comes out. So far so good on that. Got her in a 2.5 gallon pot from the dollar store and plenty of good soil and maybe it was in the stars for me to be growing this plant. My chem valley kush turned out to be male, the Blue Mystic same story...the 2 free seeds that came with that order are the only ones that came out. Funny how things work out. Regular seeds are handy, but this 100% male thing is kind of scaring me. I think I will harvest the pollen from the CVK and pollenate the Afghan...little devil on my shoulder is telling me to do it. Little angel telling me to grow sensimilla. We shall see my brothers.

 strain choice looks awesome, I wanna grab a seat while there is still time for bud porn left!
haha :Namaste:

I've been using since week 4 at the recommended dose (1/4 to 1/2tbsp. per res for me) and have seen nothing but good so far. Quite stinky now and calyxes are starting to noticeably swell.

I forgot to mention liquid koolbloom for weeks 1-7 of flower. Hope you took cuttings, it's a great strain. Nice buds for a 250!

Very nice plant Sweet.
Trying to start a BF Vanilla Kush here and no luck. The other freebie seeds from DP having problems too.
You know of anything the mail system does that messes up seeds? They are all sprouting, then they look week, then they die. Other seeds from other breeder shipped separately sprouted using same methods same time.
Only one seed has survived, its 10 days old and still looks like day one.
I hate to abandon her. Might be the only one out of the shipment that survives, even if she ends up a runt.

:yummy: The canopy looks awesome :thumb: Did you do lst or anything like that, and if so when?
Thanks man, and yes. Topped after the third node and tied it down for a total of 4.5 weeks. Sadly my cooltube fell during maintenance and broke two of the 6 main stems. Now I have about 20 tips, before the break it was about 40.

I only have dry and have been using it since week 4. When week 8 starts I'm gonna change res and stop koolbloom all together as I've heard it causes beans after week 7. Been using the minimum recommended dose but I just wanna play it safe soo close to the end:smokin:

Thanks man, appreciate it :hookah: One thing I've found that helps with withering clones/seedlings is cut a water bottle in half to make a one-plant-mini-dome. Lightly spray it once a day and make sure the light is the proper distance. Coincidentally *unlike* humans, they are sensitive when they are little :tokin:

End of Week 7

Trichs are at about 60%milky/25%clear/15%amber

I have been using dry koolbloom for the past 3 weeks with amazing results. Once week 8 starts its gonna be a flush and no more KB as I've heard it causes hermies if used past week 7. Straight nutes until the end. at the rate shes going by the time week 9 comes around she will be more than ready :yummy:

Each cola looks like a longg stack of resin-goodness and each stem is structured like the pic above. hoping for a nice harvest hehe
