2nd Soil Grow: White Widow x Creeper Cross 600 Watt

They are happy for the most part...I still can't determine what is going on with the spots on my fan leaves. I haven' seen it on any new leaves. The leaves do seem to transpire a lot, could it be burning from the lights? The tops leaves are not affected. Let me know what you guys think...

Here are some pictures top & bottom of two different leaves:

At first I thought it was rust, but the holes are not spreading rapidly and lower leaves are not affected. Rust usually forms from water splashing or high humidity. It's not spider mite damage right? The spots are yellow before they brown, but dead plant matter does the same thing. Grrrrrr

Edit: Wouldnt rust be outside of the veins too? These spots are only in the veins of the leaf.

Hmmm I dont think those spots are from light/heat burn or anything like that but thats just what I think. It looks like some sort of nute deficiency but I really dont know. I dont know if diluting their nutes would fix it but its a good possibility, lol but again I really dont know. Just throwin it out there....wanna hear some feed back.

I dont' know what to think LOL I am going back & forth from a nutrient deficiency to bugs to fungas....the affected leaves are on plant B which has the biggest buds & trichome development. I think I am catching the problem early whatever it may be LOL

EDIT:

Ok I carefully inspected both plants and compared them. I don't think I have fungus or bugs. I think I have nute burn on plant A and some type of nutrient deficiancy in plant B. Plant A does not have any leaves with brown spots in veins.

Here are some pictures I took tonight during the inspection...maybe I am just being paranoid.

Only thing I have been using is the compost tea and fertilizers listed on page 1. I'm not sure what my PPM's are at LOL...I use a freshwater PH monitor kit from my local pet store. I don't go that technical when growing ---> I believe in keeping it simple :)

Thank you for checking out the journal. I hope you stick around!

hey very nice plants .

did you do any topping, or lst, during veg ? my white widows never get that big when i top them and if dont top them they never get that many bud sites :smokin:

thnx

I always fim my girls from an early age to encourage multiple bud sites :grinjoint: I don't think it is stressful at all. In fact, I think it actually helps with increasing root growth. Remember you need to focuss more on the roots than the plant itself. More feeder roots = bigger & multiple buds

Okay so I still have some problems with Plant B's leaves. Now the problem is all over the plant and not just the middle. The Plant B still looks overall healthy. Plant A is not affected. I am also having downward curling along the edges with smaller leaves on top & bottom of Plant B. I am wondering if this is normal since I will be entering 4th week of flower on Tuesday or if its a nutrient deficiancy. What do you all think?

PS: I do have some bud porn, but I really want some input on these leaves before I post them. LOL

If you could post some closeups that would be great..I'm having a hard time really seeing and comparing the issues to my reference material..

Individual leaves should be sufficient..

You're in bloom nutes right?

:Namaste:

I have close ups posted on page 5 of this journal or click here...brown spots start in the veins and slowly spread outward.

EDIT: I already threw away the leaves I took a picture of earlier. I don't want to remove any more leaves until I know for sure its not normal because the leaves look like they are still providing nutrients and transpiring. :)

EDIT #2: Thank you for helping!

Edit #3: I'm using compost tea every other water and cactus juice with superthive every other water.
