Hello everyone,
This will be my second ever grow attempt. I got through my first grow with some bag seed and a whole lot of reading on 420 mag. I just got into growing about 4 or 5 months ago and I'm hooked. I love learning everything I can about growing so don't be afraid to tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm starting this journal a little late but I figured better late then never right

I will keep you guys updated with pics and with what's going on with them. Thanks for looking

Here is the blue diesel. I think she was stunted a little bit because I started her in a solo cup and had to transplant. I haven't watered or fed either since my last update the soil is still moist. They started half strength sensi grow on day ten and are up to 2/3 strength now. Im feeding every other watering and using water filtered through a brita water pitcher

Yesterday the BDM was looking pretty droopy, I think I over watered because it took about 5 days to dry out. I poked some holes in the top soil and put a fan pointed at the soil and when I wwoke up it was good as new and the soil was completely dry .

they just got a feeding today of 2/3 strength sensi grow a&b. Some voodoo juice and little bit of orca. With filtered water that sat our for 3 days and Ph'd to 6.2.

I noticed a little clawing on the tips of the leaves on the BDM , it could be because the roots were suffocating maybe? Because it took so long to dry out, im not sure though. Anybody have any ideas?

Also, I started another plant in a 16oz party cup. It is a delicious candy feminized that was a freebie from herbies. Im gonna let it grow out until the two autos are done. We'll see what happens.

Thanks for looking!:thumb:

They both seem about the right size for their age. Unfortunately the one is already showing pistils, she is going to start flower phase stretching very soon. The bigger one is looking excellent, are you planning any training? If so... Take a peek in my signature below, I've made up a few tutorials for training. Autos love low stress training, and you can end up with several large Colas instead of just the one. Glad you came to share the experience with us, I'll stick around to see how things develop.

Day 26 Blue Diesel
Day 21 Biodiesel Mass

The clawing on the Biodiesel seems to be clearing up. I think it was from too much nutes. I was giving 2/3 strength and after reading up a little bit I found out autos should only be given half strength nutes at most. There both looking very healthy though. There's not a burn or a spot anywhere on either of the plants. I recently got a hygrometer too. I didn't realize how crucial humidity was. I also added in a supplemental light get deeper into the blue diesel because its so bushy. Its a taotronics 12w led bulb. I'm not too sure if these lights will be enough to flower with the, I have a 150w hps that in thinking about adding in or switching to. Idk yet.

Here are the girls today, they just got a watering. Plain filtered water ph'ed to 6.4.
The Biodiesel is in the 3 gal smart pot &
The Blue Diesel is in the 1 gal white bucket.

Hope everyone is having a blessed day
Thanks for looking :peacetwo:

The plants have been getting really droopy at night time about 2 hours before lights go off but the next day after the lights come on they will be really perky and leaves will be at a 45 degree angle. Every night they get droopy and always perk up when the lights come on the next day. Is this normal?? They are on an 18/6 light schedule

Training is not essential, but it's never really too late to start. But they look so happy in those pics I might just leave them. Plants are like humans, they get tired too. After a long day of absorbing rays and soaking nutrients they'll be ready for sleep when it comes. Their internal clocks are like ours, they know when it's bed time. When you say 45° angle, is that upwards? Unless your plant looks like this, which is mine after her pot being dry all day

It's all going to be part of their cycle. Imagine that life, eh... Wake up, eat and then bath in the sun all day. Nothing to worry about from the sounds of it. Post a pic of the droopiness and regular for us... I'd like to see the change.

KiG :green_heart:cheers

I had to bend the biodiesel down a little bit because she was growing way faster then the blue diesel and I kept having to raise my light which was making it further and further away from the smaller plant. But yeah I mean upwards, ill tAke some pics now and some pics tonight when the droopiness sets in so you can see what I mean.
Is that a current grow of yours? That things a beast

Just a little update for anyone whose following.
Today is day 30 for the blue diesel (smaller plant)
And day 25 for the biodiesel mass (bigger plant)

The biodiesel was growing a lot taller and faster than the blue diesel and I kept having to raise the light higher and further away from the blue diesel. I should have started lst sooner but i never grew autos and I didn't think it would get so tall.

Looking good, just try and keep the taller bent over. You seem to have it under control, both plants are more or less even. Keep up the good work and keep us posted...

KiG :green_heart:cheers

Thanks man. The bigger one is still like 6 inches taller then the rest of the canopy I wasnt sure if I should bend it down more but it looks like im gonna have to because it keeps growing taller. Have you ever did a scrog with autos?

Have you ever did a scrog with autos?
Never done a scrog period. I like moving my plants around if needed. Also I don't have a scrog... But it's totally doable, it will depend on your strain characteristics. You'll need one that veges for 4-6 weeks to allow you to spread the branches out.

Day 34 Blue Diesel
Day 29 Biodiesel Mass

-- The girls both got fed today, they are looking really good in my opinion. I gave them Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur bloom at half strength with voodoo juice at full strength and just a tiny bit of bud candy at 2ml/gal.
In the pictures they had just got fed so they look kinda droopy. They perked up soon after though and seem to love it.-- The Biodiesel is stretching right now I think because I keep having to move the light up about an inch or two a day. The blue diesel doesn't seem to be stretching too much.

Temps have been at a steady 79-82. Night time it drops to about 71.
Humidity has been all over the place. It goes up real high at night and its about 54 -65 during the day. Next thing I buy will probably be one of them small dehumidifiers.
Feel free to give me some tips/advice
Thanks for checkin me out :surf:

A dehumidifier would be a good call. What is really high, Like in the 70s or 80s? That's will be bad in a few weeks when the buds start to form more solid masses. Humidity will cause bud rot in no time. A few bucks spent now will save you the annoyance of losing a plant to rot... It's not pretty and very disappointing when it happens, IMO.

Yeah like in the 80s. At night. I think it was because it was raining where im at for like 4 dAys straight. Its down to like 34 in the daytime now, 44 at night. but I would rather be prepared when that stuff happens next time

:peacetwo::hippy:Day 39 Blue Diesel
Day 34 Biodiesel Mass

Just a quick update. The plants are looking great. I added in my mini sunburst 150w hps in with the led to get some more penetration in the hard to reach spots. The mars hydro reflector 48 works great but I wouldn't reccomend growing more than one plant under it at a time. The girls just got a feeding this morning, half strength connoisseur bloom from advanced nutrients. And full strength voodoo juice and bud candy. Mixed into water filtered through a Britain water pitcher. I made up one gallon and split it between the two plants.

I accidently supercropped the main stem on the bdm when I was trying to bend it down more. Luckily it didn't break the skin. It should be okay its already starting to knuckle up.
