Arising Green Grow Journal: Help!

Such good support through this site...! Much appreciated..!

Well I feel I'm off to a good start, but still have some loose ends to fix.
You will notice two of the seedlings still suffering from 'yellowing.'
And I'm pretty sure it's because I did something different when preparing the soil. I drenched the 2-gallon bags of Pro-Mix and Perlite with warm, tap water...and then
planted their little tap roots in that. The bags are still heavy today...meaning I feel they just can't breathe with the dense, soaked soil! So I haven't been watering them to see if they turn green again. Should they not make it, no worries. I'll just start some more seeds as soon as my square planters come in!

I took some more pics:

Below is the bud room. I added 2 of my 3 bag seed plants into flower yesterday. And the 2 bag seed plants in the back are tied down so as to expose the undergrowth to more light. After I tied them down, all those little bud sites underneath are now shooting up towards the light! Magnificent!

And below is my HIGHLY anticipated Kali Mist. A looong way to go!

That sums it up for now! ...the waiting game continues...

Update.
Lot's of subtle changes taken place.
It seems everyday is one day closer to 'tightening' up my growing system.
In the real soon future I'll be flowering with a Eurogrower top-feed drip system using
coco and hydroton. Until then, it's Pro-Mix with all organic nutrients.

Here's whats going on:

Below is my 2 flowering bag-seed girls. I'll name then after the smoke report :)

Your grow is looking good!

Damn Bud, looks like you are off to a good start, great variety and sweet strain choices... I have had my eye on the Kali for awhile now. I can't wait to see this one unfold.. Good job and luck with this grow..:ganjamon::peace:

Thanks guys...I really appreciate the support!
Everyday I learn something new. I spend hours...literally hours reading and observing.
Its funny, most of my regime on page 1 of this journal has changed...and is currently
changing to my own tastes and choices as I learn more and more. Everything from nutrients to soil.

Anyway. All the plants are growing and my 2 bag-seed ladies are surprising me.
Now, I've grown out Nirvana's White Rhino, KC Brains KC36, Tiki's Bella Ciao (as well as other bag-seed) so I don't have a lot of 'data' to compare but thus far I am excited as hell to see these bag-girls finish up.

Below is the indica pheno of the 2 bag-seed girls at day 37. As an amateur grower I've heard of 'fruity' smelling strains but it was hard for me to believe. So today I just about died with excitement when I smelled this girl...Smells like grape kool-aid!
The first 30 days of flower I use FF Big Bloom w/ Molasses and Seaweed. Now I starting hitting them with Budswell (mix of bat and seabird guanos) w/ molasseses and seaweed.
100% organic. Can't wait for the pay off :)

And the sativa pheno below smells not-quite-as-fruity but w/ hashy undertones. Although time will tell more I suppose.

I really hope to preserve these plants and its been 9 days for the flowering clones I took off them. Kinda nervous they won't pull through....but I've been reading it takes longer for these to root than 'ordinary' clones taken in veg.
Also, these are developing yellowing tips. Is that normal? I'm thinking (hoping) that it means most of the energy is being used for rooting. Am I correct?

..And below is Day 2 of White Widow clones.

Rest of the plants are growing great and I'll get some pics in the next day or 2.
Cheers!

Thanks alot guys! Thanks Moose for the rep points!

FishSticks - Grape Kool-Aid is nice! ...with sour-sweet-sugary-grapefruit undertones :)
Berrydizzle - Thanks for clearing that up! A bunch of roots are coming out now!!

Here's a little update and random FYI's.
(Forgive me as I am one hell of an enthusiastic grower.)

My tap water situation has been the cause for the deficiencies in my seedlings.
And since I switched to distilled water, I'm very pleased! The ppm of my water has
now gone from over 385 to 0. I think I'm going to notice big differences :) And distilled water only required 1 drop of pH down to bring it from 7.2 to 6.2. With tap water, I was having to add teaspoons at a time. I'm a happy camper now.

Heres what the garden is looking like these days:

Below are the newest members of the family...A journey to find the best phenos :)

And below is my cloning method of choice, "Water Cloning."
I'm super pumped because the flowering clone I took off the sweet smelling bag seed is
putting out roots everywhere..! 9 Days for roots. I'm glad to preserve this plant.

Flowering clones look like shit...but they're rooting! :)
Does anyone else use the water-cloning method? I'm up for tips and optimal ways to use this method.

Man your plants look great! One day I'll be able to grow like that! I've attempted to grow bag seed a couple of times but failed. So I'm getting ready for my 3rd attempt at it. I've been saving my seeds for 4 years now, so I guess it's time to grow some! I got a ton of seeds, so I got plenty to keep on trying. Please keep the pictures and journal up to date, because I'm very interested in how this grow turns out.

Boss - The indica is definitely a dark green color. But too much nitrogen does surprise me because the last (and highest) nitrogen feeding they got was exactly 20 days ago; which was Fish Emulsion 5-1-1.) Since then its been feedings every-other-watering with low nitro flowering nutes. Perhaps it's the Maxicrop seaweed I use every water/feeding at 1tsp p/ gallon? But I think that's only 0-0-1. Hmm...or maybe it's just plain healthy..lol :) I'll keep you updated!

digital demon - Thanks man. I say as long as you got desire and passion to grow (and it sounds you do!) ...that you're going to be just fine when the time comes that you can grow. And start a journal here! You will learn a ton and get lots of help from amazing growers.
