Changing time

Hey there, I've recently gone into my 12/12 cycle about a week or so ago. The time just isn't a convenient one. It just wasn't thought out well. I went midnight till noon off. I'd like to change to something more like a 7-7 or 8-8. So my question is if I change my timer starting to go off early tonight as long as she gets her 12 hours of darkness am I at risk of her going hermie?

I did this 2 weeks ago so I'll give you a response, I was running my lights 6am-6pm and realized it would just make more sense to run it from 6pm to 6am I left the lights off for a full 24 hr and started the light back at 6pm out of 8 plants one hermied on me a week later! Not sure if it's from the light switch but it happened

i have done this a few times, if they come on at 12 noon then turn them of at 7pm then restart the cycle at 7am to 7pm
never ended with hermies yet due to it
