Clones is Stasis question

Hi fellow growers!
I will be getting some clones shortly and was reading up on the Clones in Stasis method using the refrigerator until I am ready to root them. My clones are already going to have a root hormone applied to them (it's just the way the guy does them), is this going to be a problem if I want to keep them in stasis in the fridge? Should I wash away the root hormone (is that even possible?), or am I going to have to start these for rooting immediately?

You could always ask not to have root hormone applied to your clones in the first place !

Other wise clones with root hormone applied would be best planted on the day... as the hormone stuff degrades over time.
