Dame Blanche in my MJ tanner

Pretty much :)

though i have to admit that that was my first and only try with DWC. Did a lot of reading about it and everyone was saying it never really goes away, etc, that it's a constant battle to keep it at bay, etc so i grabbed some pots and some promix and off i went to soil. The nutes i have work for soil so i haven't regretted the decision.. :grinjoint:

i'm also glad one of the clones survived back when I took what i could from the plant - the quality genetics in these seeds - growth rate, low stretch, etc - is easy to see, even to a noob like me, and even more visible when i compare it to the 2nd plant, which is a lower quality strain.

Hey bud those plants are exceptionally well stacked for a floro grown plant. Great work and thanks for sharing with us. Glad to see the plastic bulb protectors do the trick that was worrying me early on in the design of your box. I love it when new designs work out for people. Props for keeping at it after the hydro mess. Sometimes you just can't beat a good ol' soil grow ;)

Keep us posted on the bud development.

Thank you all who posted! Yeah seems soil is definitely more my thing, at least for the time being.. the light guards are great, though the plant did get a tiny bit burned in one area, so I'm keeping an eye on that..

Bud development seems to be doing well, here's an update, this is I think day 16 or 17! Enjoy

Lookin nice! Your grow is making a pretty good argument for T-5s over CFLs. Of course, it could be the box design too. Good job on getting fat nugs with fluorescents!

wow Curly those buds are getting juicy! That tanner is a great idea... The light looks evenly dispersed and the nugs all look uniform... Nice work!

I can't believe how big they are. It seems just yesterday they were only babies... :dreamy:

+rep :nicethread:

Thanks all! I have pictures coming up shortly after the cam charges.

bad news though - a power cut yesterday resulted in one whole daylight cycle being skipped - so they were in uninterrupted dark for 36 hours straight, and lights came back on today as normal. They seem ok, though, and from what I read en extended dark period isn't as bad as light during the dark period would have been.

Oh, I also couldn't resist and snipped a tiny bud off the plant and dried it over the weekend. Already looked and tasted great, very strong smell, and good mellow energetic high.. can't wait for it to be ready.

now for the bud porn, day 30 of flowering. The seed bank's website says budding gets 'furious' during the second half of flowering so I'm looking forward to that too :)
