time for a update on my blk seeds autoflower grow in super soil!
I missed my watering day yesterday I like to water them ever 2 days but they could go every 3 days so its all good I got drunk at a friends house watching the boxing match lol the day before and was pretty hungover so I just wanted to rest
I just gave all my plants a watering I added one teaspoon of bioag ful-humix humic acid for the whole 5 gallon bucket to 4 gallons of plain carbon filtered tap water (filtered water not R/O water) that was bubbled overnight it was ph. to 6.7 with a mix of citric acid crystals (natural ph. down) and ascorbic acid powder (vitamin C powder) that I use as ph. down and a dechlorinator
all I did was let the plain water bubble overnight and this morning I added the bioag ful-humix humic acid to my water and let it bubble for another hour before I used it I noticed that if you let the humic acid powder sit for a bit the humic acid powder mixes a lot better in to the water
these plants were not all started at the same time I had some germination problems so some of the plants are older then the others

so I wanted to get some pictures of my blk auto plants with the lights off so I can a good look on there progress and there health since its hard to tell sometimes with the lights still on
they are coming along very nicely and so far look really healthy I got to say this is one of my healthier grows I had since I moved to a super soil grow style
I think its from the seed sprout teas and worm castings teas I have been giving them in this grow and also using ascorbic acid (vitamin C powder) to help make sure my water has no chlorine or chloramine in it since that is the only changes that I have made since my last grow in super soil and those plants only got plain water for most of the grow so I seam to be on the right track
these plants were not all started at the same time I had some germination problems so some of the plants are older then the others
2x plants in day #46 from sprout (2x white widow autos from blk seeds)
2x plants in day #45 from sprout (2x sour diesel autos from blk seeds)
3x plants in day #42 from sprout (1x sour diesel auto 2x white widow autos from blk seeds)

p.s. these were taken in natural light with just the flash on my camera

these plants were not all started at the same time I had some germination problems so some of the plants are older then the others

time for a update on my blk seeds autoflower grow in super soil!
so I remembered to go in my tent and get some pictures of the plants before the light came on some of my plants are getting a bit more yellowing then I like right now my plants are between day #53 and #44 from seed the oldest plants is the most yellow
I have botanicare cal mag but not sure if I should use it or not since I am this late in flower but it might just be the plant coming to a end
they still have a ways to go so I dont want to starve them some look great some are getting yellow I could make a compost/worm casting tea or another seed sprout tea
so I remembered to go in my tent and get some pictures of the plants before the light came on some of my plants are getting a bit more yellowing then I like right now my plants are between day #53 and #44 from seed the oldest plants is the most yellow

well I decided to give my plants one last compost/worm castings tea
I am going to make it like I did last time and pre-charge my compost and worm castings before I brew with it by blending the ingredients in a bag with a bit of water for 24 hours before I use it to brew with (I do this to get the microbes active to cut down on the brewing time)
I put some plain carbon filtered tap water (filtered water not R/O water) about 4 gallons in my 5 gallon bucket that I am going to let bubble overnight (I added 2 grams of sodium ascorbic to the water to help remove the chloramine chlorine from the water before I use it)
so tomorrow morning I will add my pre-charged compost and worm castings to my bucket this time I will be adding it to a filter bag instead of just dumping it in like I did last time
I made this batch with
1 cup Malibu compost (in its own bag)
1 cup worm casting (in its own bag)
2 tablespoons insect frass (one tbsp. per bag)
2 tablespoons bokashi (one tbsp. per bag)
1/8 tsp. grandma's unsulphured molasses mixed with one cup of water
see you all tomorrow when I start my brew

so I got up this morning and got my tea ready to brew!
I took my Malibu compost and my worm castings that I pre charged overnight and put them in the mesh bag and I took one of the two bubble air stone lines and put it inside the mesh bag and used a binder clip to hold it to the side of the bucket the bubble air stone line goes in the bottom of the bucket
next I added one teaspoon of roots organics surge (its a Hydrolyzed fish product plus kelp and humic acid) just for food for the microbes and I also added one tablespoon of grandma's unsulphured molasses more food for the microbes
I covered it with a bucket lid to prevent foam from going everywhere lol
here is a full list of what I used in the tea
I made this batch with
1 cup Malibu compost

2 tablespoons insect frass
2 tablespoons bokashi
1 tablespoon grandma's unsulphured molasses
