time for a update on my blk seeds autoflower grow in super soil!

I skipped a watering day yesterday to give the corn and alfalfa seeds more time to sprout the plants did not care one lick lol they just keep on ticking

I just gave all my plants a watering I used about 4 to 5 gallons of organic corn and organic alfalfa seed sprout tea made with plain carbon filtered tap water (filtered water not R/O water) that was bubbled overnight it was ph. to 6.5 with a mix of citric acid crystals (natural ph. down) and ascorbic acid powder (vitamin C powder) that I use as ph. down and a dechlorinator

these plants were not all started at the same time I had some germination problems so some of the plants are older then the others

man I am so tired!

I just got done mixing some soil and let me tell you mixing soil is no easy job I had to mix it all by hand I am lucky I only had to mix a 2 bag batch at one time or it would be way to much work to do by hand

its all good I got it done I made this batch different then my last one I added a few more pounds of worm castings from 18 pounds to 20 pounds and I also added Malibu compost for the first time and insect frass for the first time and lets not forget my first time adding bokashi for the first time too

the added ingredients to my super soil should make a fine addition

this batch was made with

20 lbs. of organic worm castings
10 lbs. of Malibu compost (Bu’s Blend Biodynamic Compost)
1.25 lbs. insect frass (mealworm)
1.25 lbs. Bat Guano--------------------- (0-7-0)
1.25 lbs. Bone Meal-------------------- (3-16-0)
1.25 lbs. Blood Meal--------------------(12-0-0)
3 tbsp. Epsom Salt
1.5 tsp. Powdered Humic Acid
1/2 cup kelp powder
1.5 cups Alfalfa Meal
1.5 cups Oyster Shell Flour
1.5 cups kelp meal
1.5 cups Azomite
1/2 cup Mycorrhizal Fungi
1 cup Potash
2 to 4 cups of bokashi (bokashi brothers) I just pored some I did not measure it

this was mixed with 2 1.5 cubic feet bags of nectar of the gods #4 soil potting soil it was hand mixed by me in a 55 gallon tote that I got from home depot once it was well mixed I added about 2 gallons of filtered water and mixed it up some more and put on my porch to chill until its ready I let it cook for about 60 days this time I still have to mix it up a bit before I add it to the pots

I still have some Malibu compost, bokashi and worm castings that I plan to make some tea for the plants later this week

so I went ahead and got my stuff ready for a compost tea for my plants

I am trying something new this time pre-activating my worm castings and compost for my plant tea

all I did was take a cup of each worm castings and Malibu compost and put them each in there own zip lock bag with about a tablespoon of insect frass and about a tablespoon of bokashi and mixed a little bit of water and tiny amount of molasses and mixed it together

the idea is to get the worm castings and Malibu compost a jump start on reproducing microbes before I use it in the tea

I will leave the worm castings and Malibu compost mix in the bag for 24 hours and add to my water bucket tomorrow to brew for 24 to 48 hours

got my worm castings/compost tea going I just mixed it all up

I use the free float method basically I just dump it in there no strainer and after I dump it in there I ever reach in there and break up the big clumps I will let this bubble for 24 hours then water the plants

what I used in this worm castings/compost tea

1x cup of worm castings
1x cup of Malibu compost
2x tablespoon of bokashi
2x tablespoon of insect frass
1x tablespoon of molasses

my worm castings/compost tea is getting a little foamy still has to bubble overnight so it should be perfect in the morning when I water my plants

Sometimes less is more, ya know. Soil is so much easier to me, water, and the occasional tea, cant get much aimpler than that!

man it feels like a whole week has past since my last watering but it has only been 2 days between sprouting seeds for seed sprout teas and mixing super soil for my next grow and brewing actively aerated compost teas it been a lot of work these few days buts its just one of the aspects of growing that I love

I did a little Lollipopping on all my plants today I just took of the most bottom leaves and small shoots I also used some super cropping on the main top on one of my sour diesel plants it was stretching hard and fast I want to keep a some what even canopy and lastly I raised the light just a bit

did a some more Lollipopping on all my plants today I took more bottom leaves and small shoots and I also drained some of the saucers that had water run off in them the water was super dark but had no funky smell to it so its all good should help with humidity

I got some more corn seed I put in water today to soak for my next seed sprout tea
