He's popping flowers fairly often now. I am pretty stoked indeed. I've talked about breeding all last year, now I get to. Yes pulling huge yields is fun and amazing to grow, watch all that stuff. Sometimes I need to change gears and prepare for the future. I have a little while until I can take patients still, so I am using the opportunity to make myself and my future patients something special, that nobody else has. Aside from a few friends...:D

I can only imagine the day we will be able to openly ship seeds across state lines even clones just like every other plant. Sharing and protecting genetics will be so much easier, what a day that will be.:peace:

Yep. I'm slightly disappointed as I start to realize I may not be able to make seeds this round without popping another seed since the CS treatments are being resisted so strongly. She'll turn, but not until it's too late to pollinate one of these clones-in-waiting it seems. But I continue because the alternatives are less satisfactory.

hey bro, at least you tried. I mean kudos. Not everything works out. I wish we could get some of that BID cs spray for you, that shit was magic...lol

Yeah man. Not a failure, but a learning exercise. This being my first attempt at sex-changing a plant, I might have gotten the wrong (or less-ideal) kind of CS, my strength could be off, I may not be spraying enough, etc,. There's a list of possible factors, but it's all part of the process. If this thing kicks out some male flowers at ANY point, I'll be good. Just a little too late for this round...but there's always next round. Pistils are still dying and there is obvious results from spraying her...just a bit slow.

Honestly, I think that maybe the HB plants might just be hard to turn. They have their code locked in pretty hard from this method.

BID used to get mad when people bought CS, he'd say something like its "not pure or full of impurities" or something like that. We talked at length about it, its just kinda blurry. I know his DIY CS worked well, I just don't remember enough about it to make it worthy of putting here.

I followed both BID, and did what toker69 did with his CS thread..im growing 4 Autos and 3 unknowns from their learnings :)
The brand Toker69 used was listed in his journal..i bought it, used it at slightly different concentration..worked great!! I have a 10000 ppm CS that I havent tried yet..it will be diluted to achieve 60 or 80 ppm when I try other seed grows. That probably wont be for a while..
I started getting standard or regular seeds after reading Doc and Co. :)
I culled the dude Colombian..but will save pollen in future from mature male if the strain I like goes the way of the 'Nanas and Balls..
