Jon's Dedicated Fruity Pebble Cookies Grow Plus The Mystery Plant

Hi @Bill284, you may already be in bed, so hopefully you'll see this in the morning. Lmao!!!

I had another lightbulb moment about something you told me today. Remember you said to always feed as close to wake up as possible? You may not remember (lol) that I basically said, no, Jon's just going to water them when he thinks it's best instead.

Lol. As usual, when I go off the coco Bill reservation, your words are once again proven to be true.

Here's the thing:
If you water first thing in the morning they never stop praying. There literally is zero droop, ever. If you don't, there is. Simple as that. I've proven it over and over again this grow. Done proving it to myself now. You know how it is. Lol.

Thanks again, Sensei. For the rest of the grow everyone gets watered first thing. They always need it in the morning anyway. All these plants easily drain the pots in 24 hours. The stems inside must be like a Big Gulp straw up the middle. Lmao.
I might add, @Bill284, just in case you didn't know.....nobody is going to be mad at you if you're not right all the time. Just FYI.

As long as he's "generally" right, right? :cheesygrinsmiley:
HA! I knew that word was going to stick in your craw! Lo (x infinity) l.

Here's the thing Shed - I have yet to meet the lifeform who EVER beats "generally." I'm convinced it does not exist on this planet.

Not even Jimmy Carter.

So you're as good as it gets my friend. Think of it like that!!!

Hey @Jon! Cool fix for your light leak problem. I was just curious about any light leaking out of the room once it got dark and that's how I noticed that. Luckily it's impossible to see from the street so I'm good.

Here's my Mimosa Lemon auto, 32 days old, went into flower and got topped 8 days ago.

As you can see I haven't done anything else to her. I'm on the opposite side of the effort spectrum to you Jon, I tend to do as little as possible lol.

This is the Cream Cookies I was telling you about, she's 8 weeks old. She's 11" tall. At least she's budding nicely, hope it's really good smoke. FBA says the THC is 'very high', but it says the same about the yield so I'll see about that. I'll grow her again I just got a runt.

Have a great night!

Great. Now I have to get up early.

LOL it didn't bother me at all! I actually considered a compliment of the highest order. But to leave it alone and not bring it up here would have been a crime.

:Namaste:
Lol! This is so true! I'd have done the same!

Have a great night!
Morning @BubbaKush909! Nice! Look how that topping has taken off on the Mimosa! Effort or not, with that girl you didn't really have to do much. All her branches and bud are getting light top to bottom, that is the most important thing to me. At least all the buds you do get off her will be legit. I wouldn't stress the size/yield of them too much man, just concentrate now on bringing them home at the highest level quality you can. Not sure where you have your light set in terms of ppfd, but at this point it would be helpful to blast them pretty much. You want to be in the 1000-1100 ppfd range with these, and that would be where I would start, lol, and see if they can take more. At this point, all light debates aside, the simple reality is that your buds want tons of light to develop to their max. I suggest you give it to them.

Friday Morning Wake Up Porn

Don't tell me some of you guys don't look at porn before breakfast......

I wanted to show you guys how the plants look right at wake up. All of these pictures were taken between 6 and 6:15 am (lights go on at 6). This is what I was talking about @GratefulBud, don't know if it's worth getting up early for you or not...lol!

Here's an overhead(ish) shot of Titan showing most of her important stuff.

And then we get a bit closer on just the top layer.

And closer still on a main cola. I love watching stacked cotton balls morph into one solid mass.

This is what the jungle, I mean garden, looks like at wake up from the back side door of the tent.

And this is a shot of my rogues on Fulvia behaving very poorly, having obviously not gotten the memo that it's time to stop stretching and start making baseball bats. Lmao. It's pretty apparent at this point who is going to win the ultimate dominance race here.

So they'll up themselves all across the board a bit more after I water them, but this is pretty pray-ful considering they had woken up from 12 and 4 hours of darkness within minutes of these pictures. It used to be my plants always looked like they were all droopy in the morning. I'm going to call that progress. Lol.

Have a great weekend everyone! Opening Friday salvo completed.

Some of you guys are having mite issues, huh?

Down here I'm dealing with fricking RAPTOR issues. This is a dangerous place to grow. Look at this dinosaur who wandered up to the entrance to the garage today just as I happened to be going out there. He let me get WAY close and posed for me before saying bye. Nice little sauropod. Lol.

In seriousness, I see little tiny lizards by the dozens every day here, they are just part of the everyday landscape. In two years here I have never once laid eyes on a lizard this big in my yard. It is an entirely different species than the little guys. No clue what type it is. He's stunning.

Check out my main man!

ELORA
Flower Day 12

Here's as much of Elora as I can get in the frame anymore showing how, unlike Fulvia, she is stretching nice and evenly, Like a good plant. She is the Gallant to Fulvia's Goofus. (Now there's an old school reference, wonder if anyone will get that?)

Hi @InTheShed and @West Hippie -

Given all the mite discussion lately I thought you guys might be able to help me diagnose what I just found on the leaves of the spent soil pile plant. Sure looks similar to the mites WH showed us. Does this plant have them? What do you think?

Did you look under the leaf ? That’s where the boss is hanging out !

I just did after seeing this. It looks like black dots that seem to correspond to the white spots on the top side of the leaf. A couple are bigger than the others, more like tiny lines of black thread than black dots like most of them.

Mites, right?

I put my iPhone on 12x to see mine but it sounds scary , I hate these bastereds !

That emoji says it all. Bye spent soil plant!! No way on god's green earth does this meaningless weed stay and get worked on in such close proximity to my mite free garage.

First time I've ever seen them on any plant down here. Actually first time I've ever seen them live period. FUC- these things. Thanks man.

Don't quote me on it but I think that's an invasive Monitor Lizard which are supreme predators and get very large. Of course he's much less danger to your garden than mites. I hate bugs in the grow room, it's one of the main reasons I prefer growing in the winter here. But this year I'll be at least growing well into August. I just fought off a massive ant invasion and it's hardly even spring here. They had actually started establishing a colony on the underside of a grow bag in the 3 day interval between waterings, there were hundreds of them. Stresses me out cause I really hate killing anything, even bugs.

I can't even keep track of how many tents you have, much less plants lol! But in your canopy shots I love your light, and I'm thinking it's 2 lights side-by-side? The BestVA lights I have say that they can't be closer that 9" to each other, and I've been using that as a guide. But looking at pics of ViparSpectras they also seem to be right next to each other. Is that an issue? I'm wondering if it's related to heat or electromagnetic interference? I have no idea, but if I can put my lights pretty much side by side that will open up some space for me. I'll post them a question on Amazon but I'm curious what you and your other contributors do. Have a great day!
