Juicing The Plant For Her CBD's

if your using the tane, i wouldnt recommend using wet material (until i try it myself or see it done) but it will freeze solid if there is alot of moisture in the flower still. i would believe it would freeze solid and you would either have "blow back" or the glass would shatter from pressure.. but the oil i plan on making will be with shine and a rice cooker, fresh material i do believe would be a great choice for this method. pressing through a tube, i wouldnt try it till i watched from a safe distance ;) ha

ive heard of bubble hash having great results with freshly frozen material. some day i dream to be able to attempt to rub charas.

Ah ya well I will not be using BHO i'll be using a alcohol and letting it evaporate a lot of the way before putting it into a vacuum chamber to make sure all of the solvents are gone for safety. But i'll be doing a ton more research before I start that project when it gets closer to happening.

Yea I have made bubble hash before and it will be nice to find out what size screen will make that perfect full melt hash for the harle sue stain I have since every stain is different with making bubble hash.

Sounds like we need to hang out and make some bubble hash in the future :)
 
Bubble hashash is my fav, paticularly the 5star full melt that's dabable. Only place to find it is when u make it because how clean it is and how little yields.

OMG ya I have not been able to try full melt bubble hash but been watching a youtuber called bubblemansworld i think or just bubbleman and he has like 8+ year old full melt bubble hash its freaking nuts!! He has walk throughs on bubble hash making and all that good stuff I have been watching

I like watching that guy, you see the episode where he smokes a strait has J with no paper. It was beautiful.

I didn't think the males had them either... until I saw the pictures. Dudes DO make trichomes. :thedoubletake:

I think this pretty much debunks the idea that the trichomes, on female flowers, aid in capturing pollen. I never liked that theory anyway. :blalol:

I've always believed they were to protect the plant from UV and/or predation.
 
i didnt mean to say it was impossible..

ive seen pictures, on this website, of trichomes growing off of trichomes. so anything is possible.

i full heartily believe that the resin output on female plants is to capture pollen floating through the air and falling from insects/animals/birds. makes just as much sense as bees transporting pollen.

my main point, was that males have thc. i guess that pictures proves that to be true ;)

ive also heard when you force pollen to be feminized you can get mutated growth/attributes i would guess without reading that entire thread that could be the case here. i always try and get regular seeds, its just natural ;)
 
Other day I posted about us juicing & freezing cubes. Well managed to get about 3 1/2 gal of juice froze into cubes.....end of harvest and leaves for now tho.
As I mentioned other day I/we are hunting HARD for some Hi-CBD strains etc. GF, you mentioned your Sour Tsunami. Sounds like this is what I'm looking for, as well as maybe Charlotte's Web, or others Hi CBD & low THC. We currently have some really great hi THC strains.

XBones, I'm in C. Or, so out for being Cal. resident. However we're all Or cardholders. XB, those others you mentioned adding, they hi CBD, lo THC?

Last Jan I had some R4 & Charlotte's Web clones tracked down in Col. Got there & there was a mix-up, so haven't been able to get hands on anything similar since.

I also mentioned that I have some serious medical problems that I'm hunting stuff for. I have several specialist Drs that I have a really great rapport & trust with. My wife & 1 son has very nasty migraines, etc. Very close friend is HIV positive.

One of my specialist Drs that I've become extremely close & friends with, recently (2yr ago) was diagnosed with Parkinson's. This man/Dr has helped me tremendously for nearly 20 yrs & I'd really like to help back. I've talked to him about using cannabis & he is very receptive to the idea if hi-CBD's. However, he also has to be careful in his position, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, in summary, any help that someone is comfortable with would be very appreciated. I personally can't handle much of a "hi."

BTW, I noticed some of you talking about how old you are & how much longer you got to go......well I got 86 yr more to go, cause I'm going for 150 out of spite!!! hahaha

Hey there Im not sure of places in your state but ill watch out for anything I come across. Im so glad the cube making went good! The strain Harle-Sue (Harlequin X Sour Tsunami) is known to be high in CBD but one thing you have to do is send your strains off for testing to know if they are high in CBD.

The problem is that each seed can be from the same strain but be a different phenotype and turn out being high in THC even tho the strain is a known high CBD strain. Like with my adventure I started with 16 seeds from Harlequin X Sour Tsunami and after the males had been picked out we had 6 females that we sent off for testing after they had been growing for 8+months so they had peek CBD levels. From the same strain we ended up with 3 mothers that tested with good levels of CBD and then one that had high THC levels with CBD in it and the rest were not worth keeping with these 3. We ended up with a 1:1, 1:4 and a 2:1 ratios but a 1:20 ratio is possible after i pop more seeds and find that one phenotype that is really high in CBD and low in THC.

With clones the person that started that plant from seed would have to have done the testing to verify that its a high CBD plant to then clone or it could easily be a high THC plant like the AC/DC I got as a clone and am now flowering. It is already pumping out resin on the leaves faster than my 1:1 ratio Harlequin X Sour Tsunami im also flowering so that leads me to believe it has higher THC level then CBD since if its a dominant high CBD plant it won't pump out so much resin I have read and noticed with this flowering. I need testing to verify this with my AC/DC(same strain as Charlotte's Web just depends what state you're in) since I have not sent it off and where I got the clones had no testing only the name attached to it.

This is why its soooo hard to get verified high CBD plants even from strains that are well known as having high CBD and def a 1:20 or more ratio is very rare and takes a lot of time to find that one phenotype that is high in CBD unless you can find a person that has done all that work and can get a clone then you're one lucky sob lol.

I cant wait to get their Canna-Tsu too when I get some extra cash!

 I think I ran into that last yr in Colorado

Like I say, I'm at the point of really trying hard to get some seed/clones of something hi in the CBD range. Got/had plenty of plants this yr higher the other way. Everybody but me likes 'em BIG TIME!! I can't handle the "head-hi" so well, or maybe just haven't learned to yet. It do help my wife & son's migraines a lot.

I got some Rosetta Stone seed other day, but want to do some more research & checking first. I bought some RS bud last spring that was said to be somewhat hi in CBD, but oiled them & still got too heady hi for me.

BTW, we been doing the juicing down here, can't say we're "cured" yet, but sure hasn't hurt. LOL
 
ttman, I was on the site for one of the cannabis testing labs the other day and realized they had lists of dispensaries and their test results. The one I was looking at is in Seattle and had dispensaries in Spokane listed. I'm not sure if you can find something similar for your area, but I was able to find a few that had test results with great CBD #s. Then you could just call around to try and find a clone? Once you get one with CDBs, you're on your way! I'm hoping to start getting my stuff tested next year.
 
Thanks Hiker. Yes there a couple pretty good dispensaries in my area that seem to be informative & helpful. However so far the CBD "craze" seems to be just now catching up in this area.
I'll try to poke around in next few days on puter, then drop by some of the dispensaries & ck things out. (as I mentioned other day I somewhat slowed down again for a few days)

As GF mentioned, "What site was that hiker?" maybe if you get time link that site??? Thanks.

BTW, I spotted your thread "The Bud Washing Thread" & need to read some more. Sometimes I think I could sit at the computer 24/7/365 & still never get everything read I want to. haha

Last yr my wife & I went thru Colorado. I had heard about Charlotte's Web & also R4 strain. I had decided I was hell bent on getting some R4 somehow. Wasn't able to, but we were told, kind of secretively, quietly, off to the side that R4 was pretty well same as Charlotte's Web, if not the same. Depended on how it was grown & turned out. So I don't know, but still remember this.
