Kongfuzi Grows Some Autos: A First Time Grower Goes All In

Update!
Today was a watering and measuring day, and time to show off my genius (goofy) way of keeping Octopots full. Siphon hose in a 13 gal res!

Gotta have the bucket buddy to keep everything organized.

I also dropped the pH in each res to 6.0, because for some reason the pH still jumps up to 7.1ish, and I think that’s preventing proper uptake of nutes.

I like it a lot. The tent actually has a cutout specifically for the fan controller (which I hastily fucked up the installation on and never went back to fix) so I can check out basic things at a glance. The SMART mode on it is pretty dope.

Sweet!! Thanks for the info. Waiting on my check to come from workers comp then my tent will be complete!!! One last question though. Why do you have the alarm set all the way to 87?

What are you using to get your data on your pics? Super dope

Because of how I have the temp probe, it’s right under the LED getting direct light, which I’m sure throws it off a couple degrees higher than what the ambient temp is. I need to know if it gets above 85 degrees so my phone and the tent warn me.

I know I’ve been gone for a minute but I’m back with some updates!

As we can see, the dehumidifier is working perfectly, keeping my humidity in check and raising the temps to the proper temps.

The Devils Cream is getting ready for harvest! I did a final clean of the res and have been giving her collected rainwater until harvest.

The Skywalker has turned purple! The buds are super frosty, just covered with trichomes and resin. I also cleaned out the res and have been feeding just collected rainwater.

The Kush Auto is beefing up and getting more and more white hairs, letting me know it’s still growing and growing! I thought this May have been a shorter time strain, but it may actually be a 11-12 week auto.

The Northern Lights #2 is just looking better and better, getting more and more frosty every day while still restoring her green color.

The Dreamberry has also been handling her recovery nicely, with the buds swelling and getting progressively more frosty.

Maybe time to start giving the Northern Lights some rainwater? It hasn’t recovered like the rest, but it is draining the leaves it has of nutes and the buds are getting the full Christmas shape like the devils cream.

All in all, the grow is going well, having the Kasa smart plugs with my dehumidifier and heater and fans has definitely made this a twice a week activity to manage my grow.

I guess the one thing no one said about organic LOS no till grows is that they are super duper boring. All the work was really done on the front end. Add an octopot setup and it’s basically hands off unless you fuck something up (which I did). So I guess my grows are gonna be for organic discussion about building soil (hint: do what feels right) and tons of pictures.
