Medical Mystery from Canada!

Hey everyone! I'm Smokie, and I am currently a medical mystery. I am seeing 3 specialists at the moment, all who have no idea what is wrong with me. I am in constant pain, food doesn't always stay down, I toss and turn all night, my hair is falling out, and I've lost 39% of my body weight in the last 11 months WITHOUT trying. Great for any lady looking to lose that much weight, but I've always been bigger and I liked having big boobs and a butt. :laughtwo:

So here I am, smoking to keep pain levels down, and appetite up, and completely fed up with how expensive it is to fund the only thing that helps.

Nice to meet everyone!

Good luck with your condition, let's hope that some doctor can help you get it under control, and that it's not too serious. In the meantime, I'm a newcomer too but welcome anyway!

Good morning Smokiebear welcome to the 420 community

I am no doctor by any stretch of anyones imagination but has anyone suggested that your medical issues could be related to your environment? What I am suggesting is that something, in the water, or the air in your home may be contributing to your issues. Are you on a well? if not is anyone else on your waterline having any of the same issues as you are? I would suggest you start talking with your neighbors and see if they are experiencing any of your symptoms.

As for growing and the cost of growing, if you do your research before you jump into it, it is considerably cheaper then trying to buy it either through a dispensary or off the street. Depending on how much you need for your condition would determine the costs involved.
Depending on your location and your income, some areas you could even get it for free if you are low income and can not afford it, but that varies from area to area.

I hope only the best for you and hopefully they can determine what is causing this to you.

Welcome to you too then! They literally have no idea to the point where one of them said "must just be your metabolism!"

Welcome to :420: Smokie. Have you tried edibles? Seems to last longer. I hope you find some relief. :)

I have tried edibles, but I don't find they lasted any longer. I haven't had a chance to play much either though. Unfortunately, we need a need oven before brownies can happen around here again.

That would make complete sense. We are in WW2 housing, so they are old (no well though, air filters changed, vacuum every 2 days due to asthma), but no one else in our row (or even in the house) has had any of the same symptoms. The issue I am encountering when it comes to being even taken seriously is that every single test has come back clean so far. Blood tests, urinalysis, chest xray, abdominal ultrasound... everything. I'm still waiting on a MRI though, maybe it's literally all in my head? Haha.

I've been researching quite a bit. I have 7 seeds on the way. 3 are medical, 3 are "that sounds gooood" and 1 is a freebie. My grow dresser is almost completed, just missing my fans and hinges for the back. Investment so far is higher than I wanted, but I know that initial setup almost always is.

Without having a diagnosis, I can't get my license yet, which unfortunately means it's not covered by my insurance and everything is currently out of pocket. If and when a diagnosis is reached, that will change. But after hearing that 85 pounds just falling off might be my metabolism, I'm not sure I'll ever know the truth.

Thanks OG!

I will! I've got a paper journal with everything lined out in it, another notebook that is the entire process of the stealth dresser, and absolutely no pictures yet. Seeds should be here soon I'm assuming. Tracking hasn't updated since the 9th, and it just says on it's way to country of destination. So a week or two, and journal will be up!

Yay, looking forward,, here for anything I can help with,, cheers:Namaste:

Damn smokiebear, I didn't have a chance to read you intro. It's like doctors are learning on the job these days how can they not know what's wrong it's despicable. I'm so fed up with this health system. Failure to diagnose MS in my siblings case for 2 years. My sibling had no feeling in the left arm and side torso. Test after test and needles, mri's etc... Nothing for 2 years and now they want to give drugs in pill form to mitigate the symptoms and may reduce the chance of progression, meanwhile it kills the liver and kidneys and may sterilize women. Lol incredible! All this when all that is needed is some essential oils and proteins, helped along with some cannabinoids (cbd/cbn), which is proved to help MS

That's exactly what it's like. And for interns, of course they're meant to learn on the job, but actual specialists? They've been interns, and residents and fellows. It's unbelievable!

Did they finally diagnose it? This time last year I was 88bs heavier, I have now officially lost 40% of my weight, without trying (size 16 to 8, and can fit a 6 if I wanted to). But ya know, it's just my metabolism. :hmmmm: Some days I can barely even walk because my joints are so sore, ankles and knees especially. I can't sleep on my stomach because I'll wake up and be sick, nor on my back because it causes too much pain, and on my side, my knees smash together when I toss and they are now covered in bruises. When I mentioned those though, he ignored me.

I'm at a loss. My GP believes me and understands, I think partly because she's always known me as a bigger girl, and knows I've tried to lose weight before without success. We've done more testing though (morning cortisol levels, parasite tests, more blood work), and again, they're all clean.

I'm actually beginning to wonder if my smoking & vaping is keeping whatever in check, and that's why they can't find it.

Sigh.... That's depressing for sure. Yes, They finally diagnosed my sibling with remitting/recurring MS, and that's why they now want to push new drugs for treatment which isn't proven to work effectively and has disgusting side effects. At this point I've gotten my sibling to take a organic multivitamin (beyond tangy tangerine 2.0, check this out) for the last couple months and she is more lively and less depressed. I also did a heavy metal detox and bowel cleanse with them and it seems to help her mental clarity and has told me that a few times since she has actually felt the tip of her finger, for the first time in years. It scared her to feel something that she had not sensed in so long. I'm hoping that I can get her some high cbd strains to eliviate her mylin degeneration and get my whole sister back to normal. God bless you smokiebear, I'm praying for your ailments to be relieved and the millions of others who develope horrible degenerative diseases. Stay strong and know that we're rooting for your health to bounce back. Cheers my dear, :goodluck:

I'm glad she's feeling better. I have a new tab opened with the BTT2.0 so I can look into it. I was taking Veggie Greens daily as my multivitamin, but hot damn, it tastes worse than it smells. It did help me feel better though... I should see if we have any left.

High CBD strains are on my next order. This order was more of a "that sounds good, this sounds good, let's see what happens". I've been coping strains of SweetSue's thread to try. I'm also not sure if I want to go autos, or stick with the larger selection of photos. So many choices, so much healing to do!
