OG1969's 2013 Outdoor Journal - Blueberry - MadShack - Sour Boggle & Sweet Cindy

Hello all, hope your garden's are all green. Mine has been going pretty steady no major issues other than getting water to the plants, so I ran a hose to the area from the back side of the vegetable garden, no more lugging water.Last two times it has been just water next time in about 2 days they will get fed. No major drama plans are doing good getting ready get some clones off of a few of them.

Peace all will update again soon and yah I know the plants looked a little droopy they got watered right after the photos. OG

Well all is still going good gotta figure out why the blueberry #3 is so wilty looking it is not from lack of water so I am going to skip a day or so with her and see if she perks back up , hopefully get some photos today before sundown, Peace OG

Nice and warm out on this fine July Sunday, plants are doing well still wondering about the blueberry #3 plant still looks wilty but is growing and is green will check on water and or food for her the rest got fed today except madshack she is the only one that has never wilted and I have not watered her in a few days trying to figure out her timing and or if she has hit the water table to the creek 20-30 feet away. or is she transitioning to flower, not sure on that with 14.7 hours of sunlight, not actually on the plant. time will tell. But between her and shack I think shack may take her she is a ball of what will be some nice colas. Pics shack first, blueberry#3, Sour Boggle, Sweet Cindy, blueberry #2, Blueberry #1 then shack and a distat shot of shack, sweet Cindy and BB#3

Well there they are can't wait till they get all pretty with them flowers Peace all keep them green and happy, OG.

Well after looking at the blueberry plants I think they me transistioning to flower internode spaceinh is decreasing and they are shooting pistols everywhere so it may be time to change up on the nutes for them. Will try and get some close up pics when I am home from work. OG.

Well that didn't happen had to be up early and only had time to water them now have a 150 feet of hose running out to them so I don't have to carry the water to them they are doing good All but shack got rewatered today . The blueberry I swear is starting to flower will giver her a few more days and see. Shack and the blueberry #3 are gonna have dome nice colas on them, the BOG seeds are doing very well both are thick plants the top on the sweet Cindy is dam near as wide as my thumb six inches down from the top of the plant. Temps are still hot as hell sitting around a 100. A few pics of the girls

Your boggle is looking sweet OG! Cindy is pushing a fat stalk, killer. Looking at your top nodes we are getting the same over here, I decided to top everything a few days ago, one node down, due to re occurring height issues  Noticing on my girls I am also getting the purple stem change towards the top like the bb#3, figuring this is our girls starting the flowering transition asking for some added phosphorous? That shack is going to be one big bitch.. She's going to keep your reserve, well reserved :thumb: Glad to see your trees are chugging along strong bro! Great growing! +reps :peace: CA215

Thanks CA, they are going pretty good so far, and the Blueberry #3 id looking much better went more to the transition feeding for her and she is perking up again and growing gonna have to apply one more round of lst and see if I can keep her down a little more, we will see, I think shack is going to be a producer, Peace OG.

Hello all, hope you garden is a little cooler than mine has been. Plants are doing good the Blueberry # 3 is pushing towards the shy and is looking good again after her feeding from veg then into the transition phase and then into the flowering nutes, she is at this point taller than when I put the first lst on her so some new ties were made and when I get the time and it is not so darn hot out I will get out and readjust her a little closer to the ground, will also have to do this Madshack her at some point on at least a couple branches and then go from there. Hell now that I think about it Sour Boggle and Sweet Cindy will probably need some more as well, I have some work to do her in the next week then start acquiring some stuff for the fall indoor grow a little at a time and get the soil ready for some new girls. The outdoor girls got watered today and depending on what the soil looks like tomorrow they may get fed we will see with this hot weather and the wind it is drying everything out super quick and with the hard soil I have to stay on top of the watering want them nice and healthy when they start to flower. Hoping for a nice yield as well as a good variety of meds off this grow. And I know what not to do next year. I need to prep the soil a little better and get the weeds under control although they are providing some cover from the passer byes on the road. Will try and get some photos when I am out feeding them tomorrow, Peace all and thanks for stopping by, OG.

Well as promised went out a little while ago to check on the girls found two needing water so they got fed today 12ml per gallon of Blue Planet's Two Part Bluemax. As stated in the post above next outdoor grow will be a little different and a little more thought out obviously Shack, Blueberry #3, BB #1, and Sour Boggle have a little better soil or a bigger hole because they do fine, the other 2 will need water about every day and a half. so next year the whole area will get tilled and amended with a super soil mix to make my life a little easier. Snapped a few pics while I was out today the spindly looking one is the BB#1 which get more shade also think the hole isn't big enough for proper root growth and the soil around here sucks to say the least alot of clay.

The last two show what they are in I try and remove the weed directly around them and keep it somewhat clean, that will change one I have a chance to till the area and work in some stuff and remove the weeds and give the roots somewhere to go, Till next time keep the green and yourself cool, Peace OG.

Thanks Ca, I think we learn a little more each grow no matter how long we have been doing this and nextgrow will be better than this one, that is what I am shooting for. Thanks for dropping in , OG.

Experience is key, knowledge, so-so, having knowledge while experimenting, shaaboing!! :bravo:
Are you going to be sticking with subs soil mix with some other OG twerks to it on the up coming future grows? Really looking into his mix more and more.. Seems very simple and immensely beneficial.. I remember you were working on a experiment tomato with some experimental medium, how is the gal doing brotha? great work man :peace: :smokin:

Yes gonna give Sub's a runn have a buddy that just ran it, he put plants that were almost 2 feet tall into itvvegged for a month thee flowered for two months , said the plants were healthy ad hell and only added water, my tomato plant is growing ad good as my plants but won't set fruit, have researched that and with the temps and wind it causes the pollen to gum up so it isn't getting pollinated , but the zucchini is like five feet across so I guess it is doing the job.

Loving the cooler temps for myself and my garden, had to water the sour boggle and sweet Cindy today , next outdoor grow they will have some giant holes to spread their roots in I feel like I put them in a hole too small and the roots cannot grow outside it due to the hard dirt. So that will get written down as what not to do next year and give them some area to spread their feet a little more, must have gotten lucky with Shack and BB#3 because they are stout plants the stalk on the BB is pushing soda can size shack's is hard to gauge from the picture she is in a double cage so hard to get down to the stalk threw the inner cage but both are doing well, as are the other's some just need watering a little more often. Snapped a couple shots of the BB#3 and Madshack while I was out there, loving the 80's rather than the 100's.

All is going well, getting ready to make a run north east to an organic gardening store and try and pick up some of the stuff I will need for my next indoor grow, once I get these beasts harvested sometime this fall, till next time Peace all OG.

Yah I am as well Lester, they are doing pretty good all things considered , keeping them fed and watered. Have been wanting to take some clones off the girls and finally a day off and a cool morning so I went out and took clones from Madshack (4) the Blueberry #3 (4) Sour Boggle (3) and Sweet Cindy (2) so they are all clonexed up and in jiffy root shooters and under the dome and a four foot cfl in the garage misted down and ready to root and get them ready for the next indoor run. Also went out and took the Blueberry #3 and Madshack and reapplied some LST on them to lower the height of the plants by about half a foot or so which widened the plants and hopefully they will get a little more light down in there and produce a little more in the end will get out later today to water them and see if they need fed.
