Ontario Outdoors 2020

Took down more tree limbs in the backyard and ushered in even more light into the yard and my plants are loving it. My Blueberry and Glookies which were lagging behind everyone else. Have just sprung to life and will hopefully top them this week. Took forever for the limbs to start sprouting this year, compare to last. Now they are stretching upwards and outwards. plus my Glookies reveg has really started to grow over the past 4 days but I find it funny that only the one side regrew anything. So latest pics for everyone for Day 37

Your ladies are looking great!
Seems more like something you would see in an ornamental garden :goodjob:

I keep telling myself that I’m done with training for my outdoor gals and I do more LST on them anyways. I think NOW now I am done with the training because the change is sadly upon us soon in Southern Ontario (well maybe 2-3 weeks left) and I’m still adding stuff to the outside grow. Trying to revive a critical purple kush cutting from like 2 months ago and is slowly showing new growth. The other new addition is a clone from my Blue Dream I’m growing in my tent (which goes into flowering starting tomorrow) Plus she is a freak with 3 and not the normal 2 limbs shooting out from each node. Had to add more soil to the tops of my Alaskan, Durban, Jack and Blueberry plants as their roots were showing off their legs to everyone. So as of Day 62 I present my latest outdoor update.

Nice!
It'll be interesting to see how that triple girl does, whether 3 per node will translate to more budsites.

noticed in the first 4 days outside the one side was growing better then the backside of the pale, and so i rotated her today. Guess I gotta remind myself to do this every other day to give them all a chance to thrive

Well, I guess I've neglected this thread long enough, here are a few pics from a few (?) days ago.
Bakerstreet, this one is 1.5m now
20200718_111900.jpg
Blue Cheese from Canuk. Moved her out of her shiny pot into the garden, she's up to my nipples now.
20200718_111938.jpg
Pineapple Express #2 from Canuk. She's been in flower for about 4 weeks today.
20200718_111951.jpg
And now a Bakerstreet x Sativa. Not the same one obviously.
20200718_111910.jpg
She's a volunteer. I was thinking I would pobably cull her, but then I saw the female pre-flowers. The original Bks x Sat got aphids. I killed them, but the spray I used halted flowering. Then her leaves started to die. I harvested what I could after a rainstorm knocked her down. Glad I still have her sister.

Been slightly over 2 weeks since I last updated my grow for this thread. My Blue Dream clone is doing great, and have applied some LST to her and the upwards growth has responded nicely. My mystery Fruity Pebbles x Unknown strain at least has shown that SHE is a keeper. She is already flowering and looking great with some purple already showing on her. That CPK clone just died on me and was removed from the garden, but I still had another LSD clone in my tent and so she went outside last week and today has finally shown some new growth. I don’t expect much from her but I’ll take whatever she has to offer me. So she won’t be pictured this time but if she looks good soon, I’ll add her to my next post. So here are pics from today DAY 77 outside

Hello fellow Ontario growers,

This year I have started 4 Lemon Sapphire seeds ordered from the ontario cannabis store on June 4th. Today they are 63 days from seed and been outdoors.

Jul 28 I up-potted the lot into some fabric bags and have noticed over the past few days they are sort of evolving... is this the stretch or pre flower or flower. They should all be females (fem seeds) showing their sex and getting bushy, right.

I anticipate that these will not be ready until around Halloween, give or take, if I'm lucky and do not encounter any troubles.

I am guessing they are beginning flowering or "pre" flowering or entered the stretch from the pics and reading I have found. I also have read there is a correlation at 12/12 for flowering, but I googled our daylight hours and do not expect less than 13 hours of daylight until mid September. I think that is when they begin an 8 week stage of what super flower/budding?

I am pretty sure these are behind since I planted them June 4th. I'll get a journal going so I can post some pics.

Welcome to the forum!
Yeah, my plants are shifting to flower now too.
Outdoors is a bit different, your plants should be starting to flower now to be done by early/mid October, they don't need 12/12. You'll hear a lot of growers say plants start to flower at between 14 and 14.5 hours of light. Personally I think the decreasing hours of light play a role.
June 4th isn't too late to plant at all. You might not have 3 metre tall monsters, but that can be a good thing.
Post some pics here too, we'd love to see your plants!
