LED panel hanging height is the eternal unanswered question it seems! I'll be honest and say that we have customers in every extreme and all inbetweens.

We have some customers that swear by letting the tops get so close that they're practically touching the glass of the panel.. and report no problems with bleaching or burning.

We some 420 members like Tav.. that like them up higher around 20"-24". Curso likes them around 16".

The sweet spot does seem to be from 12" - 18".. and that's what we recommend to our customers. The best thing is to find what works for you in your particular situation, with your strain, with your environment.

Therefore.. the best height.. is the height that makes your own girls the happiest..

Oh they're well under 16" now more like 8 from the tallest top, nothing bad to report about it though.

Gave them a good portion of nutes today, i think they are used to the PlatinumLED P450 now. Leaves are straight up into the sky I know that as something like "hey, we are happy and praying to the sun". Am i right?

ps: Adjusted the temp a little bit and went from 21c and 51% RH to 25c and 48% RH.

really, i like what i see everytime i look in the cab. And since this is my first indoor grow, after 6 years of outside growing, it seems like i know what to do, i thought its much harder, but after you get sorted out its pretty much on autopilot.

And since there are four weeks to go, these will be some nicely sized buds! Just think how they would look if they would have been under the P450 from the beginning!

Thats why i am so damn looking forward to the next grow with the P450. Blue Dream, Malawi, Cannatonic, Super Lemon Haze, White Bhutanese, Arjans Ultra Haze #2. Thats going to be a big sativa action

Indeed, I would also love to see how they would do with the P450 from the get go. I reckon they would probably be more tight and compact.

I have two chocolopes running in my sog , they stretched so much that are getting light burned by the 400w hps. I use mainly indicas in my sog but I just couldnt wait to try the chocolope, my first sativa ever.

I'll keep running the sog for a few more months to fill out my stock and then I will focus on fewer but much larger plant grows.

I'm ansious to try mainlining/manifolding, have any of you guys tried it?

And Guys, i need your help.

I need a bit of information.

In my next grow i may use the Malawi, Super Lemon Haze, Blue Dream, Arjans Ultra Haze #2 and White Bhutanese Seeds.

I need as much information as possible of the growth of those strains.

I can have plants with 170cm height as maximum in my cab, so those Sativas should not be higher than that when harvest time comes around.

And since i could not find any reliable information about growth / stretch while flowering with those strains, i may ask you

i really wanna fill the cab as much as possible. I will grow 4 of those strains listed above in each 22l smartpots or 30l airpots.

6 Weeks of veg might be too long for those sativas, right?

It won't be too long if you're properly training them.
That being said, missing a weekend of training, while vegging like that, they may get away from you when they hit flowering and stretch.
There are a few strains that just don't take well to training at all, but you should be able to make that tent look like a jungle with those sativas. what you lose vertically you'll more than make up horizontally.

Make sure you top the sativas. 6 weeks might be too long... The super lemon haze I would always veg for 2 weeks, then flip em. They'll go from a foot tall to 4 feet tall. Make sure you top them. The Blue Dream will stretch a bit, but if it's the same genetics I just grew its going to be more a bush.... Both are 10 week strains. Feed up until week 8.5-9 for best results.

Those are the only 2 I've grown out of the list... Hope that helps.

Thanks for both! The SLH is from Greenhouse (9w4d) and the BlueDream (9w) from HSO. The White Bhutanese is 9w2d. Malawi and Arjans Ultra Haze #2 are both 12w4d

They will be topped for sure at least twice. i topped my Lemon Kushs 3 times and have now 7/8 colas per plant, thats nice

And since these will be two landraces (Malawi, White Bhutanese) and two hybrid sativas (BD/SLH) this should be fun I hope those bitches will be worth the time. But since now i just heard good of the Arjans Ultra Haze. Malawi and White Bhutanese are mostly unknown here on 420 i think.

And i can bet with you, that if i will veg the Blue Dream before the other so it grows a bit bigger (thinking about your bushy little one) it will be a sativa pheno and grows like hell

I bought about 30 land race seeds, one of this, 2-5 of that etc... But essentially, all the strains out today (with a few exceptions due to GM crops) come from original land race strains.
The easiest way to label land race strains/seeds is: Genetic Gold mine.

Pistils start to get orange \o/ its getting serious guys! nothing done today except a little plucking of fan leaves ...

everything fine so far, no def on the leaves visible, girls are happy and they love their new P450, thats for sure!
