Greetings everyone. Apologies for the lack of posts but I've been busy...saving the world & all that. Obviously nothing to do with general laziness lol!
Anyway we are day 80 & I finally harvested one plant, the smallest pure kush . The other's will be pulled just after the weekend. Here's some pics;

She's looking nice but small. I weighed her in at 145g wet so I'll be lucky to get 40g dry from this one. The pure kush isn't a heavy yielder though. But after 56 days veg I expected a bit more. I may be partly to blame for not using the bigger lights earlier on during veg. I used 240w CFLs for the first 3 weeks when I could have used 400 or 600 HID. If the smoke is good then I won't complain. 1 down 5 to go.

Hey blaze thanks for that. Been really busy the past few weeks hence the lack of updates. Yes its all just for me so there's plenty to go around. The other's were harvested last week & are currently in their jars. Will weigh them all dry soon & post the results along with a picture of them curing in their jars.

Hello amigo's,
Again apologies for the delay in updating the harvest but Ive been having major problems with my internet connection. It's not resolved yet so it's taking about 30mins to upload a 2mb file. Anyway I harvested weeks ago & Im very happy with the result in terms of quaility & potency. The yield however was disapointing although it's more than enough for my personal use so Im happy with that. I was hoping to better the yield from the last grow thats all but I think the SLH & Pure Kush are not as heavy yielders as the c99 or iced widow. Plus I had problems with spider mites which the rosemary oil eventually took care of & I only started with the main lights after 3wks of sprouting which was a mistake I think. Yield as follows;
pk1: 31g
pk2: 41g
pk3: 37g
SLH1: 42g
SLH2: 41g
SLH3: 49g
pure kush:
super lemon haze:
drying (some):
That's about 241g or 8.6oz. It's strange because the Pure Kush which is a heavy indica yielded a fair bit less than the sativa SLH even though the SLH's were attacked by spider mites. The kushe's had no real issue with any mites although right before harvest I noticed a lot of aphids on one of them, so I just removed parts of the infected areas (lost maybe about 4g).
However the potency & quality of both strains is high. They both hit you fast, I mean after a few puffs you feel like you need to sit down. It's not like other strains where it's a slower process. The pk especially affects the body, some friends who aren't heavy user's actually can't move after a few puffs. They like it though as it's relaxing. The SLH is said to be 70% sativa but I feel it's more like 50/50. The C99 for example which is a great smoke seems to be a mood 'enhancer' in that it brings positive vibes to your mind. For example I noticed that if im in a bad mood & I smoke a c99 my mood all of a sudden changes to a better one. SLH does't do that & seems a little heavy for a sativa, maybe it's because it's more potent I don't know. However it's still a very good smoke which Im enjoying but I prefer to have a sativa that doesn't floor you & an indica that does floor you, hope you know what I mean. Plus the smell of both strains is exquisite. All in all the results are very good & Im happy to recommend both strains.
Already looking forward to my next grow. Hopefully will get that started properly after a few weeks. Thanks everyone for keeping me company & offering your wisdom as well as encouragement.
