the stalks are brittle,, but not bone dry,, usually takes 5 or 6 days,, given a million situations,,
once in the jar,, the buds are dry enuf, just right actually, when they stop sticking together,,
proper care is extremely important for the ULTIMATE cure,,
less care is ok too, just not ultimate,,
humidity is the enemy, and the friend,,
too much is the enemy,,
just right is the friend,,

I never did get the hang of "when the branch snaps".
Instead I go for when the buds are crispy on the outside

I tend to jar a little early, put in a RH meter and see what it reads the next morning, then either leave the top open for a couple days or begin the burping process, depending on the RH.
