VIVOHUT Bill284's New Grow Facility: Featuring VIVOSUN & Herbies Seeds

Funny you mention Charter boat Captain. That’s my dream, I used to fish off of bridges and had a buddy that was in his 70s but he was one in Panama 🇵🇦 and still fished nightly. He would take American n Canadians fishing. CL🍀
I'd like to go to Panama, I heard it's beautiful there.
I need to brush up on my Spanish though.

A dream of mine, to have a charter not the 420 yacht but the 420 yacht sounds like it oughtta be a thing after all hehe
Tell Rob, ;)
I think he should be honorary Captain anyway.

Alright, fair call.. duh CaptainLucky is the Captain of course.. To Panama for the red buds!!! 🛥 watching out for pirates Bill took out a whole vessel of Somalian war lords and that corrected the fair trade for everyone once and for all. Happy ever after, Lucky of course spots a ship full of gold of course and Howie barks in excitement!
We make it to California, where it is almost completely dry and there are skeletons everywhere! There was just enough plastic bottle in the ocean to float us where we needed to get next. And we all enjoyed California so much being rich now, because that's all who can only afford to live there... then the state of California says excuse me but you are all so filthy fmrich your a risk to state of California and need to become prop 25 compliant! Then end.
Hey Bill, did you feel the earthquake a few weeks ago that came from over in western NY?.

I think the girls look just fine without all the worry of having the right thing for them I think everything you have done for them is perfect, we have plants in solo cups for a year here sometimes or more lol so no worry your girls will be happy to get free but for now its alright and I heard the Gia green is pretty good a little costly compared to other blends.
So your way up there?, that I can see would make things tricky almost like for our friends in NZ or other remote places these things a lot of people dont have regular access too, thought maybe you were closer because you mentioned Niagara Falls, well at least you get the benefit of good water this part of the world has to offer not sure if your water comes from where we get ours but the ph is perfect and it's not too high ppm out the tap but has what the plants like.
Hey to be honest, I have been losing a plant here or there because I try too hard to keep it going. Forgetting to pay close attention to the feeding requirements and adding ph down when I don't need to. So acidifying too much has caused me problems because I add the spent coffee to my mix and some plants don't want more acidic soil and why I have lost a few recently, tried too hard thinking oh drop the ph so they can reach other nutrients, but that's not how it works when you plant into a new mix and I should have known better but all I'm saying is they are perfect! I think they are better than perfect looking to be 100% with you. I am excited to see them a year from now and what they fruit for you in the meantime def. Hooked into this thread. Love your guys stories they are great!

Hey @Bill284 why is hard to source nutrients where you’re at? Have you thought about going full organic? I’m at the point where all I buy is a small bag of Craft blend from BAS and for $20.00 it feeds my plants all through veg. 6-8 plants. I vermicompost so I do my best to add those atleast 2-3 times throughout the whole lifecycle. I’ll do 1-2 teas from said compost and also grow my own aloe and mix it in the water, every other water. I struggle with affordability here. So I’m trying my best to source free anything. Leaf mold, worm castings, etc. I did buy BAS Big 6 micronutrients which has been excellent in my opinion. That bag was only $16 and has lasted me three cycles now. Just picking your brain on what you use. If I remember right you followed Dr Dolittle or whatever his name was on here lol. He was the guy that was always sourcing whatever he could to make nutrient’s and he was really successful if I remember right. Wonder where he went because he’s the reason I started organic gardening. Good luck boss, glad to see you have upgraded since I was here last!

Two best value bits of kit for what you want to do 👍🏼 And love the nerd joke about VHS - Betamax was always better but the porn industry picked it as cheaper. This happened with storage and cameras later too. Where the Cali Porn industry leads…

I humbly suggest the fishing round my parts is pretty good. I go out on a boat owned by a good Ole Southern Boy. Carolinas type. Was head of a major stock market round here for years. Generally lunch is say chilli or brisket, maybe some sashimi if we got any, took my parents out last November and they have no interest in fishing but it was the kids birthday and a boat trip round some islands and fresh tuna sashimi they had a pretty good day!

Its like $100 a person for 8 hours with lunch, soft drinks and top end tackle and bait.

Put some pics in my off topic as yeah I know weed has been smoked on that boat but its a stretch.

Nick (Day Job Version)

The concrete retains the heat.
I have it Tripple insulated aswell with bubble foil instead of vapor barrier.
its an extra R21.:thumb:

Canadians Ah.;)

Spring trout fishing is my favorite.
My buddy has 40 acres in Hockley with the Nottawasaga River on it.
Beautiful place.
Now i fish here mostly.

11.5 is long enough, especially around trees.

I cure the eggs and use them as bait, roe bags.

I lost my smoker in the move.

White fish is lovely too, but smoked rainbow is my favorite.

Barracuda's in Cuba were full of poison they said.

We used to catch them when we were younger.
There was a dam we fished , had tons of them 40 lbs or so.
Massive things.
We had a ball trying to land one.
Lucky we didn't get pulled in.

Thats what they taste like too.

First shark I caught was in a Hurricane.
Was the craziest thing ever.
I was just holding on for dear life.
When I got it to the boat I said what now?
Captain said catch and release.
I said no problem I'll watch.:laugh::rofl:
Took 4 of them to subdue it and get the hook out.
We caught 8 that day.
In a hurricane.

Bill284 😎
I always just cut the leader n the hook with rust out in a couple of days. The smaller Blacktip I ate, no bones 🦴 you marinate overnight in Italian dressing. Very tasty lol. CL🍀

They are guzzling 5 litres a day.
Here is the whole story why they look rough and are still in solos.
I was in too much of a hurry to pop beans, to start.
I wasn't quite ready.
So I popped seeds and kept working on construction.
When it was time to uppot I was still doing the electrical.
Finally I'm ready and can only find half my air pots.
2 days digging through 4 feet of snow, can't find them.
So I ordered more.
While this is going on I have another problem.
I thought I had nutrients left from the summer.
Nope calmag and Rx B. Is all I have.
So Plagron was supposed to send me 10 litres of nutrients, no problem.
I'm way the fek up north, way way up.
Nothing for miles especially hydrophobic places.
So I managed to scrounge up some Gia Green veg granular nutrients.
While I'm waiting for Plagron to be delivered.
The nutrients are mixed in coco ready for uppotting.
But they are still starving.
So the air pots finally come and I have covid again. Or something like it.
We only had 1 test so I never got tested.
But sick as a dog.
Could barely hold my head up, let alone uppot.
So that's where things stand.
They are improperly fed.
And in solos for way too long.
The leaves are in rough shape from not getting fed and being in solos too long.
No problem though I'll whip them into shape in no time and finish the hut.
It's a permanent dedicated grow facility so I have time to perfect the setup.
Nutrients are a pain up here but I'll get things worked out in time.
It's going to be perfect eventually just takes time.
Glad you like it though.

Bill284 😎
Hope you’re feeling better bro btw did you ever see @InTheSheds solo experiment? He grew a full size plant in a solo so although you’re wanting to uppot I think they will be fine. Take care n TTYL. CL🍀 :morenutes: :high-five::Namaste:

Hey Bill, did you feel the earthquake a few weeks ago that came from over in western NY?.
I live in mining country.
The only thing between me and Hudson Bay is a train track and a couple mines.
Every other day we feel them blasting miles underground.
So the occasional earthquake isn't noticed up here.
I might have felt it though can't say for sure.
How are you doing today my friend?

#Vivosun #Love What You Grow
Bill284 😎

Hey @Bill284 why is hard to source nutrients where you’re at?
Location to begin with.
We are way the fek up north.
i might have mentioned Niagara Falls in conversation.
Been there 50 times. But im nowhere near there now.
But nutrients, there is 1 shop within driving distance that has bongs and a couple grow items.
Pie nutrients is what they have?
i asked the lady if they are any good.
She had no clue.
I box of foxfarms on the shelf $259.00
1 container of Gia Green veg. $50.00
so i bought Gia Green.
But But But Plagron was supposed to send me 5 litres of coco A and 5 litres of coco B and calmag back at the end of January.
So I figured id be ok.
But its almost March and no sign of them.
That's what set this off to start.
Have you thought about going full organic?
I run coco strictly now.
Did half soil in the greenhouse last summer.
But strictly coco from now on.
So i need nutrients.
I’m at the point where all I buy is a small bag of Craft blend from BAS and for $20.00 it feeds my plants all through veg. 6-8 plants. Are you refer to @NuttyProfessor in Ireland.
He decided to get into growing food I believe, for restaurants in his area, can't remember for sure.

There's an idea.
We could all meet in Panama.
Like the Olympics, every 4 years.
420Magazine reunion. :yahoo:
Just a thought.
After my last trip to Cuba I'm not in a hurry to go through an airport though.
Can we charter a boat?
Good morning ANPF :ciao:

They are OK except for lack of nutrition.
I'll throw 4 in 5 gal bags and straight into the flower room.
The rest will be staggered every 4 weeks so I have a constant harvest.
Clones & Moms and maby a couple new strains for the greenhouse and a perpetual harvest.
Here we go.:thumb:
I'm feeling a bit better today so hopefully I can get some significant amount of work done today.

Cool - I got that feeling - waking up and feeling like I have energy again. Yeah there’s beaches in 3 directions within 1km, we live on a peninsular, on an island. The pier the boat leaves from is 200 yards from where I work from during the day. Dive shops everywhere. Huge business here.

Beaches, fishing, diving and weed farms round here (but honestly why people are doing farms/greenhouses on this bit of the island I don’t know. Salt is in the air. You can smell it sometimes depending on the wind direction.
