Figured out my bucket plumbing, finally.

Going with (2) 2” bulkhead on one side. The bottom of the hole will be 1.25” below the net pot.

On the opposite side, 2” higher will be another 2” in case of clogs.

With the main 2, one will be connected to a tee fitting. Third side up, to act as a secondary backup.

The only unknown is the roots. If they clog up 3 drains, then hang in cause we're headed to the moon off the nugs.

But 3 of the 2” gives more square inches of drainage than the single 3” I have at the bottom now. The flow was plenty, but not ridiculous. Root balls were good and big, but none decided to venture off.
