1st Timer - 8 Plants + 5 Strains - Advice Welcome!

well folks this is my unknown still in veg.any ideas about strain??..i think she is white widow just like my girl in flower..

hi fellow growers. well went out and bought 2 cfls and mounted them together for my veg space.i wasnt sure if the cfls i had were doing the job.so added more hopefully get my girls in veg to fill out more.i started to germinate 2 ice seeds 1 has popped her head out the soil.the other 1 is near the top of the soil but hasnt done anything she has been like that for 2 full days now.i also have a power flower germinating just now she has been in the paper towel method for 3 days and seed has split open but no tap root.impatient i think..lol.as promised i will put pics up of my other 2 unknowns 1 is in flower and other still veging.

In the beginning when you're germinating it seems that it's taking such a long time, but before you know it your baby will be growing it's own, with some help from you, later on you won't be so impatient with all the different things you'll have to do to keep them growing, it's a committment, kind of like rescuing a cat or dog. take care/good work Tommytim

ive decided to buy another 3 of these lights the big one ive been using it seems to make my girls stretch to much so im pulling it down and changing to more of these. how mant per sq meter do i need does anyone know before i go and buy to many.. CHEERS FOLKS.

Tommy, when my plants grew above the lights, I took some string/twine and tied it to the shelf and lowered the stalk horizontal, it made the buds really start to grow upwards, kind of low stress training in flowering, I think it made a big difference in bud growth/good luck/grace

thankx fluffy as i said first attempt.my temps are a major problem for me.my skunk+widow look like they are coping better with the heat.hopefully the heat doesnt stunt or slow grow to much.well i will keep you informed..

I have to say that there are a lot of advantages to living in the UK! A lot of people complain and moan about our weather but I kinda like it. Mind you, having said that, I am a weirdie who LOVES proper cold weather...my other half often says I was a penguin in a previous life! lol.

Got any other heat reducing tactics planned?

We just broke our heat wave, I have windows open 1st time in about 2 weeks, and it feels like heaven, nice cool breeze coming in, low 70's, how long it will last, I don't know, but for now, THANK YOU GOD/take care kid/grace

hi fellow growers greetings from sunny spain. well ive been busy with work i neglected my journal for a few days forgive me folks i tried to take some pics with my camera it wont focus properly so borrowed my mothers fone took some good pics so as soon as i work out how to download from fone to comp i will post them..if all else fails i will take more pics with camera for the bud porn fans..THATS ME...LOL. i need to invest in a new camera aunt grace style. my temps are still a nitemare to handle i only run lights at night but temps still 88-90.during the day temps are 85-87 i know its to high but my skunk girl and unknown which i think is white widow are looking fab.i have 2 intake fans running 24/7 also fans moving air around grow tent 24/7 so i hope that is enough,,also my 3 of my clones are in soil started to root.im SOOO excited about the clones diffirent experience when its clones rooting im such a proud father.. more pics up tonight folks.......my girls are now 30 days 12/12 they are coming along great..

hi grace all is ticking away here ive been busy with work and my garden which i wouldnt change for the world.well temps here have been over a 100 for the last week.according to the weather its going to continue for the next couple of weeks.how is your garden going?

good morning (night) depending on where you are folks.. well i took a couple more pics today........first is before i turned lights off....

...well folks i turned camera round took pic of veg side of my room.

as you can see in the right hand corner my flower tent flap wide open not good but what can i do??..i will explain all about my veg later but you can see my unknown from first grow still in veg.plus my skunk girl is veging..then you should be able to see seedling i will post pics of them later for you all..seedlings are 2 ice.2 flower power and now i think 4 out of 10 clones have rooted and now are in soil.i think for my next grow i may have to chop 2 or more of clones i think it will be to much to flower not 100% sure what to do..well folks enjoyy..

now for my little girls here is 2 of my first ice germinated.

now other seedling as you can see 1 ice..2 power flower im not doing a journal on them and my clones.hopefully that will be my next

as you can see my 3 clones in the back i think they will all be ok but as i said before not sure i need all 3 EMMMM chop i think .. girls...ok now for group pic taken today after lights out..
