3rd Generation Do-Si-Do

Hello to all. this grow is soil, 2 15gal containers F/F ocean forests. the grow box is 30" × 40" . for lights I have 2 HLG 100 watt 4000K and 1 HLG 100 R spec. the seeds came from some recreational cannabis do-si-do, that I grew and it provided me with about 20 seeds. the genetics are a bit wonkie so they grow a bit strange... I'm already 4 weeks into this grow. I'll post photos from the start.

I started to tie down branches and one branch split a 1/4of the way off. never had it happen before...

the tips of the new growth are yellowing... not sure if it's light burn or a nute burn.

Great looking ladies Chris! I like the quick walk through of the first month. I'm doing a daily update right now... I can barely keep up. Lol.

Sucks about the split.
I've never done the quadline training before. I may give it a go this year. It will be my first indoor grow. Lots to learn!

Masking tape saved my ass a few times last year with split joints. Helped the knuckles heal up faster and they stayed more stable.

Thanks for sharing where you're at with the Do-Si-Dos. I had a couple clones last year outside. They ultimately succumbed to multiple hurdles and I ended up with nothing to harvest off them. Sucked!

Also, I love the bucket of goods by your feet! Haaa haaaa. I have multiple buckets like that for various projects. Then I have just as much scattered all over the damn place that should be in a bucket! LMAO

I fed then some roots organic terp tea last Tuesday I mixed It full strength (1 tbs per gal ) maybe it was too much. I also added the 3rd light on monday so it could have been light related too... it ain't easy keeping em green. I raised the lights to 22" above the Canopy. then I flushed her,well as best as I can flush out a 15 gal container,4 gallons in 3 sucked out of the drip tray

training continues... I bent the 8 lower branches, the thinner ones just kinda snapped but branches about 1/4" bend nice

hanging washers help to keep her growing sideways. it's amazing how fast they will start lift up the weight

lol, they look great, I use fishing weights( bell sinkers) they work great. I had a cheese plant once that had over 2 1/2 pounds of weights on it to spread it out as it flowered.

still a bit concerned with the yellowing tips. but I have at least 4 weeks until 12/12. I'm not going stress over the little shite

what difference a day makes. my big girl recovered fast the big branches have just about straightened themselves out.

my smaller girl need watering today, not sure how to deal with her she decided to grow sideways.

this is my grow box. I keep the front closed overnight. but for most of the day it's open with the fan going. am I losing too much light with it open ?

Great news, they look awesome. Have you grown Do Si Dos before? If it is anything like the last one that I grew, you will have to tie her branches up to keep them from breaking. Look at the pic and you will see that I used the main stalk for an anchor point to tie off my branches.

I have grown do-si-do before. my seeds are 3rd generation so I'm dealing with wonkie genetics. they grow fine and produce nice bud. when cured they smell like the real thing but they taste bland, very strong buzz tho. that's what's most important.
