420's Dark Angel Grow Journal 2019

Hi everyone!

This is my first time growing and I'm looking for any advice along the way. I'm attempting to grow 2 Dark angel plants. I will be growing with an organic soil from a local store.

Set up;
2×4×6 grow tent
1000w LED light (cheap amazon)
2- 1 gallon pots
General hydroponics nutrients
Small fan
Heater
Temp/humidity monitor

I'm currently germinating the seeds with the paper towel method. I'm wondering what is the best method to sprout the seeds? Should I place them directly in the large pots or start them out in another medium?

I will update my setup as I acquire more items that are needed.

Germinated two seeds and only one broke open.

Planted the one seed on Dec.4 2018

Now starting a 16hr light on 8hr off cycle.

Temp is at around 22 celcius with 60% humidity

Light on 16hr on 8 hr off cycle
Watering when pot gets light in weight

Watering around every 3 days

Temp is around 65 degrees 70rh light off
And 75 degrees 63 rh light on

Still doing 16hrs on 8 hrs off

Plant seems to growing outward more the upward. Is that good or bad ? My light is rought 18inchs from the plant

Should I move to a bigger size pot soon or stay with the 1 gallon for now ?

Still going strong....I'm going to be stop my nutes for until veg and flower.

Hopefully move into a bigger pot soon.

Personally I would get those into at least a 7 gallon FABRIC pot soon.
Make sure your soil has about 30% aeration like add in some pumice, rice hulls and biochar.

They look good so far.

Re- poted into a larger container. Will grow in that for a while then I will switch to a 7 gallon fabric pot. I'm just following the method that the local nursery suggested from previous experience

Getting bigger. Still just using spring water no nutes.

Humidity has been steadily a little higher at around 70 to 75 rh

The heater I had got a little outta control and damaged the plant a little :/. Still seems to be okay. Looking a bit droopy in my opinion. When is a good time to start using a bit of nutes. I was also thinking of repotting again soon to a 7 gallon fabric pot

Thinking I may repot into a larger size now and start a small amount of flowering nutes. Plant seems to be growing very bushy and not very tall

Repoted yesterday into a larger plastic pot....unfortunately I live in a area where fabric pots weren't available at this time. I needed to repot so no time for an online order.

Plant seems to be responding well to the larger pot. I also put a small amount of flowering nutes in with my first water. I will keep a close eye to see if she likes that or not.

Switched my lighting schedule and nutrients to flower. Hopefully all goes well.

I have done some defoliation but not sure if I'm doing it correctly.

She's still growing!!

Pushing flower nutrients as much as I can now. Got my PH adjusted to around 6.0 going in. Also adding calmag 1 tsp per gallon.

Havent posted in a long time. I think I'm about a week away from harvest now. Last few water cycles I havent been using any nutrient. Ph adjusted tap water only. Hoping to get a decent yield for my first grow. Had a few hiccups along the way.
