too early. save yourself trouble and don't do anything of a kind until some solid nodes are out. i know it's super tempting you get over it.

Just got my timer.. so i am switching from 24/0 to 18/6 tonight

if you can try to had some more light even if its another 23 W CFL its not that expensive and you i'll see the diference, they will grow faster.

better light they will grow faster. i use CFLs and LED. CFLs on veg and LED on flowering. they seem grow same rate here. but im still a rookie.

seems logical tho but dont burn them. i have done that too. with to much lights. heat from CFLs are hard on them.
i have like 7 CFLs on mine. 2 red 4 white and a 100w regular light bulb also. oh and one blue one. but i cut it off now they are rooted.

ok i'll add 1 more 23W CFL tomorrow but i will keep it about 10-15cm from the plant. Dont wanna burn them like 7Dust says because the surrounding temperature here is quite high during the day (close to 30C)

from you guys' experience, will it grow faster with 24/0 or 18/6 light schedule? i heard some darkness promotes faster root growth. Btw i am growing auto northern light strain.

Looking great Tukan. That new seedling is looking very promising in that organic soil. I personally use 18/6 I like to let my girls have some time to rest.

Yeah i am like Sub. there.

i like 18/6 but what i do, veg stag 22/2 but my trimer quit and i have to get another one. right now mine is 24/0 but
Flowering now. 12/12 , i have done both 24/0 and 18/6 and it does to me seem be better on 18/6 for the plants.

Yeah ! More light for these babys !
Btw I use 20-4 because they need dark time too I think too 24 hours of light could stress them out in veg and also the extra 2 hours of light give them that boost . but thats just my opinion.
Keep it going!

yeah i think they make the leaves deformed too. seem to be not full and wide fan leaves when you do that. the 24/0 light that is
