I was out checking plants and noticed one has had the bark stripped off from the base of the plant up about a foot well anyways I have had some baby rabbits take residence under our deck so I thought it was them and I yelled at the dog for not doing her job lol!
Well the dog wasn't doing her job!!! As I came outside today ,I seen a squirrel fully stretched out standing in my container stripping away!!! I think because of the drought we've had it was licking up the moisture in the trunk you folks got any hypothesis about this???
I've never seen that before so maybe before I pass judgement on things maybe I need to watch a little closer I'm saying that for others benefits I am GOOD about details and reliable research but thing's aren't what they used to be outside the climate is changing significantly!

Here's my fix!! 🤞🤞🤞

Late in flower Colombian Indians would strip the ‘bark’ low on the plant to prevent nutrients from entering the buds in order to get the light gold weed known as Colombian gold.
I hope the critters didn’t go too deep. Time will tell.
