Day 75 update: Trikes starting to get cloudy. Must be getting close. Here are some shots for you bud porn lovers.

Oh, and I decided on cracking GSC and Sour Diesel next.

Good times are nearly here. One of the plants is getting very purple.

Interesting these are now over 11 weeks from seed. Breeder states 8-10 weeks. For autos, these should have been done by now, but due to the hell I put these girls through, I'm surprised they are still alive. They continue to put on weight and more stank. There are surely 2 different phynos working here. One is not turning purple but has a sweet, almost candy skunk aroma. Way dank. Fewer buds, but bigger and thicker. The other is turning purple and has more buds, but they are smaller and not as thick at all with this plant having some slight foxtailing. Also, it has an interesting spicy aroma. More dank than the other one. Very different. The bud structure looks very similar with the only differences stated above. Pretty sure I'll get over a quarter zip total out of them now. Not bad for autos that I almost killed twice.

Interesting and way fun. Just need to figure out a way to keep this skunk smell from seeping through the basement floors and out around the house. These little girls wreak and are making me nervous. Can't wait to chop, dry, and weigh. Still no amber trikes yet. Going to pop the GSC and Sour Diesel soon as these ladies come down.

DAY 90!! No amber trikes yet. These ladies seem to be in a stall or something. I just dont know. I'm goin to just keep watering now with zero nutes and pH adjusted water. The fan leaves are turning all purple and yellowing out. I guess they are just ripening on the vine so to speak.

I personally have never seen a bud this big in person. The 8ths I used to buy back in the day for $60 would have 3-4 small buds in the bag. That's what I knew to be pot. This however. This. Is. Amazing. I know 100% of other growers grow bigger buds than this, it's just I've never seen it until know. Jesus.

Oh, and looking back on my seed pack, these ladies are Purple KUSH, not Purple Haze. Whoops.

Wierd. Day 96 and one plant has no amber and the other has like one or two. I don't understand. These are autos. That's almost 14 weeks from seed.

Any thoughts? I just stopped feeding them Nutes. Most the fan leaves are yellow or dark purple and getting crunchy.

Okay, call me impatient, I dunno. The pistols are nice and orange, not many amber trikes at all, but nice and cloudy and frosty. I decided to let them sleep for a couple days in darkness with no more water, then chop, chop on Tuesday or Wednesday. We'll see how it goes. I hope it's the right decision. Live and learn.

Harvest Day!!

How cool. This is my first ever harvest. Boy howdy did these plants stink up my room as I was cutting. A couple interesting notes:

1. I left them in the dark for 72 hours. They appear to have put on more weight and foxtail a little. I have photos below.

2. These autos took 14 weeks (!!!) from seed popping to finish. Breeder says this is a 8-10 week strain.

3. Two distinct phenos. The purple one was topped and had smaller buds that foxtailed more and had a very catty aroma (cat box). The other one had hardly any purple and was not topped and had a huge 3.5oz cola wet weight. Well, huge by my first harvest standard. I'm used to getting bags of 8ths that have 3-4 small buds in them.

I washed the buds in h2o2, baking soda, lemon juice, and hot/cold water. They are hanging to dry now.

So, the large cola was not drying fast enough and I noticed a little bud rot starting on the top. I cut in out and cut it into smaller nugs so it would dry properly. Oh well... still lookimg good.

Okay ladies and gentlemen. This will do it. Looks like 2 zips total. One ounce from each pheno type. Just tried the purple pheno so far. Got me stoned. Way stoned. Half a small joint and it crept up on me. Had to lay down. Bed was spinning. Wasn't even drinking. LOL.
