Hello to my fellow pot smokers and growers I am primarily new to this forum and late to actual start my jurnal but I would like to get you guys up to date.
-Started germination July 23rd,
-Planted in first Soil July 24th ( With miracle Grow Potting Soil),
-made Homeaid grow box (Avent Baby bottle set BOX with a aluminum foil covered perimeter)
-Desk lamp ( 100 W Equivilant Blue LED Flood Light )
-No Nutes given Until August 22nd
- switched pot August 15th (from about 1 to 2 quart Chinese store cup) to half gallon pot
-switched soil to organic Potting soil August 22nd (kept same half gallon pot)
-Changed Light intensity to 1300 Lumen Flood Light (120 W equivalent medium base)

Since I have transplanted into new soil (because miracle grow was bad) I have been keeping an eye on it thru the day, it doesn’t seem to be getting better but more so more dry. We can all keep an eye on this process hopefully we can find out wat it is after flowering! All suggestions and comments are welcome I’m open to new things. Even hearing such as putting urine diluted with water in your plants ;)

This is what it looks like now, I think it’s just in shock from transporting it.

I'm having the same problem with my first grow too. It seems that mine is improving since I have raised the lights. Do you have a fan on them or anything?

I place a mini fan on them about 3 times a day (because of battery drain) but I recently switched from a 600 lumen to a 1300 lumen the day I transplanted I haven’t seen improvement yet

Moved the baby girl from one home aid box to another, taller, more spacious, and light not to close to her. Hopefully after a few days it will continue new growth but does the bad leaves fall off before new growth or should I cut them for new growth to happen?

I would trim the bad portions off. More than likely it will fall off themselves, but to avoid any sort of fungus I just remove it. I've heard of people cutting holes in boxes and adding computer fans. It will cause a draft and release any built up heat.

You just gave me an idea to grow in a box!

Yea I grew in a box because my resorces was limited. Since first growing it has been doing justice check these pics out

That’s a good idea but what type of computer fan? And I was hesitating to trim the leaves cuz someone said it’s already stressed and cutting leaves instead of letting fall off would add more stress is that true?

Not sure I understand the need for the box

I've seen stealth, but that's not stealth

I'd say it traps heat, I'd personally open it up

The box wasnt for fashion simply was because I didn’t have the funds for a grow tent. Works just as well tho. No need for stealth but it doesn’t trap heat. When u use a box I feel like the aluminum foil being on card board doesn’t make it super hot, and when the fan is on it gives it the perfect Hawaii type temperature. U make sure u have a opening at the type (for the light) and make sure the bottom is completely open (I noticed the floor doesn’t get hot when a light is pointed to it)

Gave them their first nutes 2 days ago but I recently transplanted them from miracle grow soil

Your plants are struggling. Miracle grow is rarely used for growing cannabis for many reasons. The chemicals used and the time release causes other problems. They are also know to be too “hot” for baby plants. I could go on about why not to use time releases chemical soils. Now your adding nutes too. Likely burning your plants. That’s all if your temp and humidity are under control with proper air circulation and ventilation.

I understand the info u have given but I got the same information about 2 weeks ago that’s why I transplanted from miracle grow to organic soil. Then added Alaska fish fertilizer which said doesn’t burn your plants. The air circulation is moderate not to warm but also cool when fan is blowing. My lighting schedule was switched when transplanted from 24 H to 18:6 to give them time to sleep. What else could it be in your opinion? I do believe they are struggling tho, check out these pics I’m bouta upload
