Looks like thrips and/or mites. Are you growing indoors or out?

Welcome. Get a jewlers loupe and check out under the laeves. Probably have livestock. Neem will will knock them out if you do have them.

many people never are able to see the mites, but that is sure what it looks like to me. Look for piles of poop under the leaves, and if you can get slow enough, stare at the base of the trunk for a while, and you will see them move.
