Well it looks like it has been 3 days again so here is my update.
Used a 1/4 Strength Alaskan fish fertilizer on this the last watering, no nute burn this time I think they like it.
Here is some pics of the progress. They are keeping low do to the LST and seem to really like the tie down, I will probably try scrogging them on the next run. I can say I am seeing no signs of purple though, however that might just be later in flower, I will see soon enough.
Purple Widow #1
Definatly a lady
Purple Widow #2 , we have deemed him a boy, stuck him in the flowering room to make positive, then it is into the livingroom window for manicuring (we live in a secluded area)
nuts!
We were hoping for all girls, but the boy has snuck in, sneeky boys.
For some reason Purple Widow #3 is being reluctent to show us any kind of sex, so we will still be waiting, I am thinking another week.
still on the fence
The LAW is growing VERY slowly, I think it is the strain though.
So as of yesterday is has been 4 weeks since we put them into the paper towel. I am trying not to rush them and letting them do their thing, other then growing straight up.
I have not trimmed, cropped, FIM or super cropped, all they are getting is the LST treatment. I think they are doing well, next water will be at 1/2 strength maybe 3/4. The bottle says that the AFF will not burn, but I don't trust it.
In addition I am going to replace my 250Watt HPS with a 270 Watt HPS from
Lumenarc
"The 270 watt Lumenarc Super Agro High Pressure Sodium lamp is universal and may be burned vertically or horizontally.
This horticulturally balanced bulb gives more lumens per watt than standard 250-watt hps lamps!
The Super Agro has a 30% increase in the blue spectrum, creating a balance of red and blue light for optimal plant growth. It works well for flowering plants as well.
Details:
24,000 hours of use
2800 degrees Kelvin
29,500 lumens"
Sounds promising unfortunatly I can only get them online for a resonable price.
I had thought anout getting one of the dual 1000's (600HPS/400MH) but it is cost restrictive for the bulb.
Until next time , thanks for watching
