Darius2250 2nd go of it

Well it looks like it has been 3 days again so here is my update.

Used a 1/4 Strength Alaskan fish fertilizer on this the last watering, no nute burn this time ;) I think they like it.

Here is some pics of the progress. They are keeping low do to the LST and seem to really like the tie down, I will probably try scrogging them on the next run. I can say I am seeing no signs of purple though, however that might just be later in flower, I will see soon enough.

Purple Widow #2 , we have deemed him a boy, stuck him in the flowering room to make positive, then it is into the livingroom window for manicuring (we live in a secluded area)

We were hoping for all girls, but the boy has snuck in, sneeky boys.

For some reason Purple Widow #3 is being reluctent to show us any kind of sex, so we will still be waiting, I am thinking another week.

The LAW is growing VERY slowly, I think it is the strain though.
LAW_1.jpg

So as of yesterday is has been 4 weeks since we put them into the paper towel. I am trying not to rush them and letting them do their thing, other then growing straight up.

I have not trimmed, cropped, FIM or super cropped, all they are getting is the LST treatment. I think they are doing well, next water will be at 1/2 strength maybe 3/4. The bottle says that the AFF will not burn, but I don't trust it.

In addition I am going to replace my 250Watt HPS with a 270 Watt HPS from
Lumenarc
"The 270 watt Lumenarc Super Agro High Pressure Sodium lamp is universal and may be burned vertically or horizontally.

This horticulturally balanced bulb gives more lumens per watt than standard 250-watt hps lamps!

The Super Agro has a 30% increase in the blue spectrum, creating a balance of red and blue light for optimal plant growth. It works well for flowering plants as well.

Details:
24,000 hours of use
2800 degrees Kelvin
29,500 lumens"

Sounds promising unfortunatly I can only get them online for a resonable price.
I had thought anout getting one of the dual 1000's (600HPS/400MH) but it is cost restrictive for the bulb.

Until next time , thanks for watching

Welcome to all, there has been a new devlopment, bought an HTG 400 system for flower, great price, so we ditched the 250 watter.
Today marks the 12/12 cycle. No pictures this time however.

So here we are at the 3 days of floweing. The HTG Suppley 400watt hps is doing an amazing job, I had to put in a Stanley blower fan and a passive intake to get the heat out, with it running the way it is set, I get 77-78 degrees F during light on. Temp drop is about 10 DF.

I did get some clones to start the veg process again. They seem to be doing ok, I am kind of thinking they are still struggling and I might have better seedlings at this point, but oh well. They seem to be viable, therfore I can't really complain.

I did manage to get a few pictures, so here they are :yummy:

The LA Woman is not showing yet, but it was a feminized seeds so our hopes are high... :roorrip:

So it has been awhile since the last update, had some remodling in the house to do and a few other things that has taken up alot of my time on the internet, but I managed to get some quick shots in.

The LA Woman FINALLY started to show and YAY it's a girl! I suck at cloning , I lost all three clones that I took, oh well I think I am seed kinda guy :)

Here is the full shot of her I still have her tied down to reduce the height, the side shoots are almost as big as the main cola!

a close up of the buds that are starting to form.

Not a super clear pic but what I am trying to show is where the normaly side shoots have bulged at the main stalk and are growing straight up.

LA-3C.jpg

I would like to say that the fan leaves are friggin HUGE! I have to trim them away every 5 or so days or they end up covering up everything.

Now onto the Purple Widow, I have to say this plant is AMAZING! I have been keeping her low but she is fighting me the whole way. Most of the buds are the length of my middle finger or longer, then seem very compact and tight, the hairs are friggin everywhere. We ended up pollenating one branch from the strong male that we deemed the mate to this female, both of them showed sex at the 4 weeks of veg.

here is a full body shot of this sexy plant.

PW-Full.jpg

Now in this shot I am showing some yellowing on just the edge of the leaves, it is isolated to the group in the pic, otherwise she is strong and beautiful. I am not sure what is causing it, but it does seem isolated.

PW-yellow.jpg

Now here you go, some bud porn. As you can see she is starting to show a bit of purple, dark time temps are around 63-65 Degrees F. Light on temps are 76-78 Degrees F.
