I have an old light with some burnt out diodes. I wanna put some cobs on it though. Sweet that you got it running again.

Very cool write up. A lot of folks don’t realize the importance of thermal grease and robust heat sinks for long life. You’ve addressed both.
Never been gutsy enough to swap a burnt LED. I figured I’d torch the light for good if I tried.
